Deluded Diaries: Sex Skills

Hello again! Development of Deluded is going as steady as ever, and we still have a lot to talk about regarding our game design vision for the future. So, we’re continuing with our Diaries!

Some time ago, we posted a devlog called Skills where we talked about things like Engineering, Cooking, Herbalism, etc. This is a follow-up post where we’ll cover another no less (or maybe more) important part of your character’s skill set. 💋

This topic is a bit less developed compared to the aforementioned survival skills, so it’s more of an invitation to discuss it in the comments.

Sex skills are a set of Alisa's practical skills that reflect her actual sexual experience.

They level up only by performing the following activities:

• Having sex with NPCs (scripted, random, quest-related or event-related)

• Using sex toys or devices

• Working as a prostitute

• Reading specific magazines—just like with survival skills

Sex skill checks occur only during the following sexual encounters:

• Working as a prostitute

• Offering sex

• Using sex toys or devices (higher skill grants 1-2 more unique interactions)

In the current game’s dialogues you’ve already encountered various attribute checks (e.g. [INT 14]). Sex skill checks will work the same way. Unlike survival skills, sex skill checks are always set in 25-point increments. Each of the 4 skill stages (25, 50, 75 and 100) will unlock a batch of new sex positions.
