LATEST PATCH BREAKING MANY CC AND MODS
Hi everyone!
Today is patch day and I’m reading A LOT of reports that the patch is breaking CC, INCLUDING COSMETIC CC. It’s still unknown if it’s accidental or there’s something actually changing with how mods work in The Sims 4 due to the new marketplace stuff.
I still haven’t updated my game but currently I’m downloading the latest version of The Sims 4 on my other laptop to check the compatibility of my CC. I’m also still waiting for reports to know whether the error is caused by the game or the actual CC files. Please kindly let me know if you have any problems with my CC
All my CC that will be released later this month will still be compatible with the version before the latest patch. Whether they will be compatible with the latest patch, unfortunately I still can’t give definitive answers. I’m truly sorry.

Thankfully EA fixed it with another update and things are ok now for most, but that was the scariest update for Sims 4 I have ever seen in my life, I've never seen an update break so much before on that scale. More than 90% of all CC I had was broken, almost 100% of all my CC, My finished Sims I had made all the way back in 2017 to the present were broke, all my work and even my own CC. It gave me a bit of a panic attack. But yeah thankfully it's good now. I still don't know how EA managed to screw things up that badly though, but at least they were able to resolve it.
