Jeremy is dead. I made sure that he was killed when the choice was given. The last thing I want to see is the image above. I this update is only available with this path, I might think about cancelling.

Well, you still have the scene with John and Lora. The save file that Deep adds with each new update includes the scene with Jeremy, so it's best to use your previous save files.
