Skin Companion csp 0.2.5/0.2.6p1 fixes
Some stuff broke, both on my end and csp side so here are the fixes so things work properly again.
skins of cars that had a different skin when joining in a session weren't applying properly after loading in (me issue, should be good now)
due to some changes in the api some skins would not apply at all as it would look for textures indefinitely. Now there is a upper limit of how long a texture can take to be loaded. That limit is super arbitrary and i'm not sure about lower end systems so I made it adjustable just in case.
an api function that now overall works better broke in an unexpected way, resulting in android auto (and possibly other csp shaders?) to break. I'm now using some manual stuff I used a while ago instead as a workaround and everything seems to work fine but let me know if there would be any issues.
I also added some stuff in the backend so that skin loading progress could maybe be displayed later, but I'm not sure if it's needed. I thought it could be nice as it feels a bit like nothing is happening when applying a skin as textures and shaders are getting ready in the background... 🤔
I could apply them as soon as they are ready but I think it looks nicer/less messy if it just applies all at once. :)
Anyway, here are the fixes hopefully everything works as expected now, let me know of any potential issues on discord, thanks!
Special thanks to Soyo, Mook and Porta for the big support. You guys rock.
And thank you to anyone else that is contributing (reporting broken stuff counts too!). o/
Oh and I can't push updates to appshelf for now. So you'd have to get it from here for now. :/

Is this supposed to work during an online session with other drivers when I select a livery? For example, while I’m still in an online session, I can go into the replay and see a dropdown list of drivers from that session. However, when I try to apply a different livery to them, nothing changes, not in the replay, and not after exiting it and remaining in the online session. It does work if they’re using a livery that I already have installed that they manually change online on their end. So basically, I’m wondering: can I actually control what livery other drivers appear to have on my end?
that was never intended to work to control other people's skins online. I can't remember if it's an oversight on my end or if online replays came out after this.
Great work! Is it possible for the app to look for the texture map and ext_config related to the skin and apply that as well? I have some chrome skins that rely on the the Texture map and config to apply the chrome effect. The only way to have the effect is to start in that skin as the app does not pull these over.
Shader replacements from ext config should work with the next version which should be out pretty soon.
how do we install this?
Drag and drop in cm. Or install it from csp appshelf.
