Don't worry, your character doesn't have to be a zombie or dead. What the post is referring to is that in the episode the character will appear dead or as a zombie.

hello! i am very sorry if you've received this message already, i am struggling with my computer and things mightve accidentally sent more than once. I was able to submit a character and chose a group (slasher slushies), but accidentally selected a character that isnt in that group (rick) for the royal rumble. is that a problem or something i can fix? hope you are doing well!
