Due to a bug found in previous versions related to save files, you cannot use your save file from previous updates.
To avoid having to restart the entire game:
Delete the "Settings.sav" and "slot1.sav" files located in "C:\Users\[YourUser]\AppData\Local\Parasite_Echo\Saved\SaveGames"
Download "slot1.sav" from this link and add the "slot1.sav" file to the same file location
When loading your save, follow Eliot's instructions

Hello, i'm entering the elevaror but i cant go up. Is there any any other place that i can go?
There is no more content after finishing The Hangar area :)
another error im encountering, after talking to the scientist, the game just freezes. not freezing in the literal sense, i just cant interact with anything or continue through the elevator
When a conversation starts Cira changes to "dialog" state and the player is not able to interact or attack. I suppose that after the conversation finishes this state doesn't restores again. I'll check it. Thanks

You must have had some trouble extracting the files, or maybe your antivirus deleted some of them.
is the game crashing for anyone else? i get the warning and then after that it consistently crashes on load
There is a known error if you are an AMD user: You have to run the game using DirectX 11, as this can help prevent crashes. Locate the game’s .exe file Right-click it and select Create shortcut Right-click the shortcut → Properties In the Target field, add a space at the end and then: -dx11 Apply and run the game
