Our Red String Chapter 10 BETA release!
Here's the Beta for Chapter 10! All of the reported bugs and continuity errors have been fixed, but there might still be some lurking... If you find anything weird, be sure to report it through our Discord channel!
I also added some improvements and tweaked a few things from past episodes (refining some sprites, adding interactive screens, implementing the new designs for Lena's outfits, etc.) Work on Chapter 10 isn't over yet and I will add a complete new scene to the final release, so stay tuned for that, and there's also a couple of improvements I want to add, but the core of the episode should work smoothly and as intended now.
This one is by far the heaviest update to date: the script is almost 33% longer than Chapter 7, the longest one yet, and it amasses around 130 new, full-screen illustrations, not counting all the possible variations and layered cosmetics. It also features some new music tracks, let's see if you like them! Also, if anybody wants to time their playthrough and share it, it would be an interesting and useful metric to have. Of course, to experience all of the available
new content you'll need to try different routes and options, but I wonder how long it takes someone to actually go through one run. Also, be mindful this time your old savefiles from Chapter 9 Remastered should work fine, so no need to start from scratch.
Thanks to everyone who stayed positive and supported the development during this long road. I know it's been a very long wait and I hope this new chapter is worth it. This has been a monumental task and I hope it shows in the result, and that you guys can enjoy the experience. I could start rambling about the ordeal this whole process was, but I'll shut up and let you play the Alpha, not before thanking the VIPs who've helped me closely and made this release possible: BloodyMares, Lara, TheDarkFabel and my colorist, Lena Dai.

? i see the walkthrough is different with new prologue. HOW do u get 3 charisma by chapter 2 for ian only can egt too and cant charm alison at bar and i dont wont to use the cheat code or play on easy mode so is there a way to get ian charisma to 3 by chapter 2?
Ouch, the last spoiler-picture in this post was a bad one. I am sad not being able to discover it by chance in the game, but having seen it prematurely now. It was hard to quickly look away. Please don't throw away such good pictures for free. Looking again at Lena's new outfits, they really seem more fitting, well done :) . You are still improving the old chapters? So it is a good think I cannot play the new chapter right know. Got some taxes to do and a little flu. I don't want to play your game rushed. I am planning to start from scratch (with skipping all the text I remember well, of course) and play a reluctant, pure and not so horny Lena this time. Looking forward to your minor improvements to the old chapters :) . What an exiting feeling to be able to start playing the game any time now :) .
Is the plan for there to be distinct "good guy/girl" and "bad guy/girl" paths like GGGB, I wonder? So far at least my impression is the "bad", i.e. harem path can collect almost all the scenes, except maybe the Holly/Ian relationship. Being good seems to mostly just foreclose scenes? Hope that's not the case, though maybe it's still early days and maybe I'm misreading the design intention based on the earlier title. I suppose there's not a corruption point system here, after all, so I wonder how things will branch out.
I only played a good guy playthrough and nothing else but i feel great with it. Sure you migh get less sex scenes but im honestly not playing for them. I love the story. And i feel like im positively influencing my friends during my playthrough which is way more valuable than any sex scene could be. I was so happy when i got willpower after seeing one of my friends getting lucky. (Im trying to be spoiler free here.) I will try different playthroughs later on but to me it feels like you have the choice between being bad/selfish or good and boosting your friends. The lack of sex scenes could be circumvented with more bragging between friends, dreams and Voyeurismus. Not saying that the game needs it.
