Chapter 10 weekly status report (16)
Hi everyone,
Some of you brought to my attention the character teaser from the last status report had been posted before. My bad, I'm so focused on the writing I barely have any mental space left for the community management side of things. There's not much I can show you without spoiling the content for this new chapter, but this time I bring you something different:
I mentioned some time ago I wasn't totally happy with my design for Lena's athletics outfit, and that had remained the case. And since she'll be getting a new option for chapter 10, I also felt compelled to re-design some concepts for it, and also her lust outfit, since I decided to mic and match different parts of them. I feel that the previous lust top fits better with the athletics outfit, making it more sexy and suitable to wear in clubbing scenarios, where the athletics outfit was being underused.
Here are some concepts I'm considering to use as replacement for those outfits:
Since most of the assets are already in place and only some tweaks would be necessary, updating previous illustrations will be pretty easy and straightforward (a task I would undertake when all the content for chapter 10 is finished).
What are your thoughts and opinions? Do you like any of the new concepts or do you prefer the old ones? Maybe you like one of the designs but with different colors? I might make a poll if you think this could improve the old outfits.

Good to hear from you, Eva. Agree with Bread Pitt and BloodyMares opinions. However, I like #3 for athletic and #4 for lust in the redesign. Not sure how I have felt about the thong panty straps over the hips in the lust outfits. Looked nice enough during game play I guess but for some reason, for me, it's looking a little over the top for Lana in these renders.

To be honest, I like your ideas for re-designing some of the concepts for Lena and the lust outfit. I like how the top goes with the athletics outfit
Personally the last one on the right for athletics and the 4th from left for lust.
Prefer the third one for the athletic outfit. I like that it’s fairly plain and simple and one-coloured, it looks less like something you’d *only* wear at the gym. For the lust outfit I think the fifth one is the best. Colour wise the pink and white combo works well: It’s not exactly a subtle outfit, so I think it also fits that the colours kinda stand out.
I'd settle for Lena being able to purchase a revealing miniskirt for her to show off her toys.
can u make the shorts into lets say micro shorts.....
In the coming poll, could it include a vote for miniskirt vs the current short-shorts for lust?
Or maybe even cotton or spandex-short-shorts, not the jeans-stuff?

Hey Eva, nice to read from you at such unusual time :) . I wonder what this new clothing option for chapter 10 will be... a very slutty one seems almost too obvious. I can understand that you are not that happy with the sport-outfit to be worn in the club. On the other hand: A nice girl can wear the cheapest rugs and still look good, so don't bother too much, please ;) . My favourite hot outfit: The skirt of the charisma outfit (a tight leather, silk or satin one) combined with the dark red top from the third new lust-outfits, but with a little more cleavage. I really like the current "sexy", top, but for me, it is something inbetween. Too sporty to be sexy, too sexy to be sporty. But all in all, I really trust your taste fashion-wise. By the way, if you google "sexy spanish dancer", you get a lot of stuff that would look great on sexy-Lena, but it might be too much, though.
Gym 3, Lust 3. I still think a mini skirt would be suitable for lust. I mean it's lust; easy access and it opens up voyeuristic/exhibitionist opportunities.
Lena should definetely keep the hotpants, hold ups and the choker for her Lust outfit - if at all, change the top a bit to show more cleavage and/or nips - what about going "bra-style" ?
I agree with the bra-style... the current straight tops don't look that sexy to me (maybe becaus we lack the impressive third dimension visuals of them). For me, (very) sexy almost always goes along with some cleavage.
I think both Athletics options should be kept for the sake of variety. Lena can already wear her black striped top with either red skirt or jean shorts. The same could be achieved with Athletics outfit where she could wear the sexy top with her leggings for partying or dates, and wear the pink hoodie outside in a more casual setting, similar to how Jeremy wears his leather jacket occasionally on top of his red t-shirt or how Ian swaps between his brown hoodie and blue shirt based on mood. I only wish the outfits we buy for Lena could replace her default casual look depending on which the player prefers. Let Lena wear her pink Athletic hoodie every day with her jeans for example. P.S. her last setup (black top with black pants) could be used for Lena to wear on her concerts. Add a sick black leather jacket, and the new rockstar is born.
While I like the additional looks, I don't think there's a pressing need for a redesign. I feel like it bears remembering that an outfit can only get so skimpy and you might want to leave yourself with more options for daring clothing in the future.
Agreed. Lena's character has ways to go, be it while working with Billy or perhaps pole-dancing in the club with Ivy. Unlocking too revealing clothes this early might undermine visual representation of Lena's drastic life changes like it was in GGGB. While forcing Ash into a particular outfit/style depending on her stats felt limiting, it was a cool way to showcase character progression. So, keeping a sexier outfit for later in the story might be the best approach, if for some reason she's expected to dress up slutty. Current Lust outfit works well IMO.
I like the sports bra with yoga pants combo better than the zip up personally. I’m not picky about the color combos.

The new athletics outfit looks good and my preferred choice would be 1 & 2 (grey & blue-gray). The current lust outfit was OK in my opinion but if you have to change it, let it be the 4th option (second from the right). It is great to hear from you. I hope we aren't very far from alpha release.
I'm in favour of gym outfit 2. The light blue gives it the pop of colour that it needs. And for the lust option I'd say top 2, bring over the now missing pink for the old athletic outfit and the white shorts as not other outfit has the light bottoms. Thank you for your time and consideration <3
Nice to have news Eva ! <3 I think the dark blue pants outfit is the best for gym outfit, cause it is sporty while classy enough to go out. The full black is too sad and the light grey and blue pants ones feels a bit cheap... Concerning the lust outfit, I think the red top one is the best. Red is indeed the color of lust and is the best looking one. The black and blue looks too much like the gym outfit, and all the variations of pink look bimboish imho...
Fully agree with your color feelings. I think a problem might be the reusabilty of the outfits. If you wear them in the gym, you might not really wear them in the club. The blue or light grey sport-outfit would look good in the gym, but really are a little cheap in the club, for example. Yeah, dark red is sexy as hell :) .
I'm not opposed to having a more sexy athletics outfit for Lena, I think it's fun to flaunt her body. That said, I'd actually like to keep the old one too, even if it won't appear while she's performing athletic feats. I think the pink sweater is a fun clothing option. Of the options shown I like the blue yoga pants the best, nice contrast. As for the other outfits, I don't think there is anything to improve about the charisma outfit. I also like the wits one, but I don't think it would be wrong to give the white shirt some more detail. It's cute as is, but it is a bit plain perhaps. I would like a completely different lust outfit for purchase, because the one present currently can also just be obtained from Ivy. I think something really provocative like a miniskirt combo with one of those tube tops could be fun. I like the red one.
