Chapter 10 weekly status report (1)
So, the remaster is finally done and work on Chapter 10 has already started.
At this stage I'm working on several tasks at the same time:
Planning the script: I've already decided the main plot points that need to take place on Chapter 10, meaning sex scenes and narrative-advancing scenes. Now I'm trying to figure out how to organize them, how they interlink and what info needs to be delivered in those scenes.
Story-boarding: Since I've already decided the major scenes, I'm laying them down both structurally and visually: deciding how many illustrations each scene needs, what actions are depicted in them, and which references to use. This is a rather fluid process and I end up making a lot of changes along the way, but it's useful to have them figured out as much as possible beforehand.
Drawing: Once I'm happy with the image selection for a scene, it's time to start drawing. I try to start as soon as possible, this way the colorist has ample time to work on these while I keep making progress in other areas. I'm also conducting a few tryouts to find someone to help me with the line-art, too (if you're interested, PM me). I've finished drawing 2 scenes so far.
Business stuff: The part that I enjoy the least, but necessary. Aside from polishing the released game a bit further (I re-uploaded it, no major changes, just cosmetic and optimization) I also updated the Demos and published ORS on Itch.io, so if you want to support the game on another platform, you can do it there. And speaking about other platforms, it's time to get ORS on Steam, so I'll be working on that too.
That's it for now. I'll be busy with these tasks for a while, but I'll keep you posted on a weekly basis. Let's get this new chapter out as soon as possible!

Same. Lena, Ian, and Emma all coming together to expose Seymour Ward would be my ideal playthrough.
I haven't been here as long as other people (I joined somewhere between Chapters 7 and 8, I think) but I'm more than impressed with how up-to-date you keep everyone. Your weekly updates are much closer to weekly than most other developers, and I appreciate that greatly. It's nice to know both that progress is being made and that you are taking the time to get everything done right. EDIT: Time makes fools of us all. my profile says I joined right around the time Chapter 9 came out, having encountered GGGB for free, I looked you up and immediately signed up as a patron at a level where I could get access to GGGB and support your work; I am no pirate.
Nice new banner! I always knew that there a plenty of characters in the game, but seeing them all at once makes it more overwhelming. But Billy is missing - oh wait, he took the picture, right ;) ? Could you post the old banner once more somewhere? I would like to save it - it really looked stylish. Has anybody an idea what could be the reason for the ranking? It is no Ian-Lena-division and Robert does have more content than Ed for example. Just by chance?
Just by the way: If you still suffer a little from burn-out and think, this reports do take up a lot of energy, you could really make them shorter. Only two or three sentences with "I am working, made structure and drawing-prerequisites" would be enough. Don't get me wrong, I find your post very interesting und would love to read even more! But please don't feel pressured to write too much. A weekly short post without much pressure is better than a long, hard post in a two to four week schedule.
Almost forget how it felt, having you announce ongoing work on a new chapter :) . Feels so good! Chapter 10 is on it's way, horayyy!

Great news! Can't wait for chapter 10! Just finished playing through the Remastered version and it was incredible! Even managed to discover some new paths and interactions I didn't see the first couple of times I played. Really looking forward to what's to come in chapter 10 since in my playthrough Ian and Lena are finally an exclusive couple (with Ian hooking up with Allison previously). Can't wait for Lena and Allison to finally meet that will be an interesting scene. Keep up the great work Eva!
