Hey there!
The year is coming to and end and ORS had progressed to Chapter 9 already. Time flies...
I launched this new project at the end of March 2020, but it started to gain traction at the start of this current year, and now we're here: 9 chapters, around 130.000 lines of code, hundreds of full color illustrations and more than 648.000 words written (that's more than the two first A Song of Ice and Fire books combined), and there's still a lot more to do.
None of this would've been possible without BloodyMares, Lara, Breadloaf, theDarkFable, DrackDrap, Cabot, vBerlichingen and other members of the community who have been helping me. And also, of course, without the help of every single one of you who have supported this project by becoming a patron. I'm really grateful to all of you and I have the feeling I don't convey that properly or as much as I should.
While I keep working in the updated version of ORS and preparing for a Steam release, it's time to close the year with another Q&A session. Write down below any question you have and I'll try to answer it to the best of my ability. I really enjoy doing these so ask away!

Change the name of the male characters? More animated, close up sex scenes?
Sorry if this has been asked before and it might came a little bit close to spoiler section but compared to GGGB, ORS has been very tamed. I liked it but I really enjoy group content especially MMF, DP or Gangbang scenes. So I was wondering how close are we to approach a scene like that in ORS, or is it even considered for ORS? Thanks a lot and happy holiday, you work has always been quality!
It is a bit tame but ORS is more grounded in reality (and has different tone from previous game). As Eva said above that kind of scenes are planned but only Eva knows when/if she decide to include them.
hey there, your game is great :-) and you should be super proud. 1) (Spoilers) these are kind of a two part questions: are you planning on expanding on the Lena and Louise's Dom/Sub relationship, or is that dead in the water as of Ch. 9? If so is there any chance that Ivy will be involved in any way (kind of like you hinted in the poker game with the feet thing, yes i know different paths), sort of a Lena gets off making her do something she knows that Louise will hate (corruption) <3: and Louise will do anything to please Lena even if it means doing stuff with someone she hates? 2)Any chance Ivy gets sick of trying to change Holly and decides she would be better as her Submissive, and Ivy and Lena (depending on Lena path) force her to make Stalkfap content with them, or make her dress super slutty and walk her around shopping/clubbing etc. or something along the lines <3? if I'm so far out in left field you don't want to respond I apologize :-) but your Lez content is incredible, especially the bdsm and dominant side of it <3. i don't expect spoilers of course but anything about future lez bdsm content would be appreciated <3. have an amazing holiday, ty for all you do.
1) One question about the book fair with Holly. Was the mixup with Ian's room just very (un)lucky or is Holly not so innocent as she always pretends to be? 2) At Wade's birthday party if Ian goes after Perry, Axel seems quite smug. Did there something happen unbeknown to us and if, will we find out? 3) We already met the Mayor twice, is he going to play a noteworthy role in the story? And if so, how 'interesting' is this role going to be?
I'm pretty sure "the room mixup" is all Holly's doing. IIRC she even said something about it to Ivy & Lena.
sorry, sent the last message before it was finished, so here is the full thing First off I would like to say that I absolutely ADORE this game! Currently it is my favorite adult game I've played, which is some pretty tough competition. I am beyond impressed with the work that has gone into making this game what it is, congratulations. the story and characters are among the best I've seen and I've found myself genuinely caring about their lives and fates, in a way that usually only happens with characters I make. With that out of the way, and with hope that i am not too late for the Q&A, My first question has to do with Lena-Holly-Ian, the so called "Holly Trinity", (which a terrible name but I Ironically love it). I've been told that you answered "yes" to it's existence in game some time ago in a Q&A, my question is how soon do you expect to be able to implement it, will it be here in the next couple chapters, or is it more of an end game thing? I know that those of us who want that option would like to have it for a good number of chapters and scenes, to really see the relationship develop. My second question is about content for Ian. Given how many choices are available for Lena as far as fetish and non-vanilla content are concerned, such as receiving anal, doming and being dominated, light BDSM, pet play, etc. I have not explored 100% of the game but so far I have noted a fewer number of these routes for Ian. Are there any plans to bring some of that into Ian's story? For example him letting Lena dominate him after she has experienced it in through Louise, or some other method. I had originally though Minerva would play a role like this, but she ended up being the opposite, and while she is probably my 2nd least favorite in the story, it feels like a natural option that really should be there for her story, though that would require a a bit of a rewrite, though only for the last few scenes, everything else leads perfectly into it IMO. Overall i am happy with what's been in the game, and i like Ian's story so far but i think one or two more fetish paths for him would help balance his scenes out a bit. Third, not a question, I would just like to echo some of the previous support shown for more genre based games in future, such as historical, fantasy or sci-fi. i think it would be awesome to see your style translated in a few more different places. Personally i find writing sci-fi and fantasy to be very freeing, in the sense that the story constraints are established by me, allowing me to be more creative in what I add, change, or remove, from the world etc. I'm sure you have plenty of ideas as far as that goes, but if you want any more I'd be happy to give some... i have A LOT of story ideas XD, most of which I unfortunately will never have the time to pursue. anyways, take care, Merry Christmas (or whichever holiday you chose) and i hope you enjoy the break on new chapters, and get a nice recharge from taking it slow for a bit. exactly, Ian's options are either Dom or Vanilla. it's well done but it would be very nice to get some variety, even if it's only in a couple of routs.
Hello, is the ahego on Lena during last chapter becoming a permanent feature or it was just a test from you to see how it'll be welcome?
Hope it won't be. Kinda breaks the realism for me. But there might be a loop-hole for this: if Lena would have faked it - maybe in order to impress someone.
Does Lena eventually get involved with more black guys if she went the route of admitting that she has interest in BBC?
She will have that option down the line.

Hey Eva! Love the game(s) especially ORS, first of this genre (adult visual novel?) I ever played and with my disappointment more and more with modern gaming: awful unfinished triple A titles that should NOT be released, always needing to be online, microtransactions, poor "patchwork development" games...Our Red String has been an awesome surprise I look forward too. I noticed the "Battle Royale" Tshirt on Stan's new character art....love that film. My fave films of 2021 so far: DUNE, The Green Knight, Pig, Last Night In SoHo (and fingers crossed The Matrix: Resurrections is good, as The Matrix is an all time Top 5 for me!!) What are some of your favorite films? All time? Past years/this year that may have inspired you creatively or just love to revisit? Take care :)
Thank you! I'm also dissatisfied with the modern gaming industry and their shitty practices; making money is awesome but artistic integrity should be paramount. Making compromises is unavoidable, but I believe if you create something good people will relate to it and enable you to make a living out of it. Maybe you can't make a triple A game with crazy graphics, but if the core elements of the game are good, you don't really need those. About movies, I always considered my top 3 movies Terminator 2, Starship Troopers and The Last Samurai! And I went to see Matrix 4 yesterday and... I'm sorry to say it was awful imho :(
I wanted to ask about the theme of the red string and how much are you trying to implement it into your future plans? Also with the red string of fate is it necessarily about Ian and Lena or is it about all the characters or maybe some red strings between characters we don't know? I guess I am just asking could you expand on the title of the game and how it relates?
ORS is about how people relate to one another and how they build, navigate and mess up those relationships. It's not so much about fate or destiny, but about what those relationships mean to us, or something like that. To be honest I didn't think too thoroughly about the themes, and I'm discovering new meaning in my own work as I keep progressing the story. I think having both male and female MCs has turned out to be more than a simple gimmick, but everyone is free to find their own meaning, that's the cool thing about art.
GGGB and ORS are both set in modern day, real world. For your next game, if you have any ideas yet, are you thinking the same thing, or maybe SF, fantasy, historical, detective noir ... any thoughts?
I have several ideas for a next project. Most are set in contemporary society, but I also have a fantasy setting in mind, though developing a project like that would need a lot of extra resources and time (concept art, world-building, etc)
Will there be cuckold content? Also will we be able to share more girls like Cindy or Cherry with Jeremy?
I'm not sure there will be a dedicated cuck route, but some scenes with that fetish will be present no doubt. Jeremy can have access to a good number of the female cast, but not all.

I don't really have favorites, as I said before I enjoy writing different characters for different reasons and in different scenes. 4. You can already kickstart that route on chapter 9. 5. When can we expect a Steam Release?
Yes, my goal is to release on Steam ans soon as I'm done with the re-working of existing chapters. I want to polish my work before releasing on Steam.
Do you plan to add any trap content like the gym shower scene from GGGB? I feel like that character totally needed more story and the idea of another trans antagonist with a few branching paths and a handful of scenes would be a great addition for those of us into that sort of thing.
I've already answered a similar question above, but no, no plans for transgender characters in ORS so far for several reason, mainly the fact that the cast and plot-lines are already bloated to the max and how including that kind of characters can attract a pitchfork-wielding mob trying to cancel the project.
I have just one question: is the Holly Trinity still viable option?

Out of all the characters you’ve made from GGGB to ORS which characters can you relate to the most?
It depends, since I can relate to some character traits and not others, and those characters can change a lot depending on your choices. I can relate to Ian or Lena on a certain path, but not so much in one of their possible variations. And most characters have something of me in them, but I don't relate to some other of their traits. So it's hard to name specific characters...
I just want to express my gratitude for your work. Your games are the best in this genre from my perspective, because they allow to build the character you want, and get a lot of content even without turning a girl into a whore. So I hope you will continue with such approach and wish you good luck!

Hello Eva, Are you gonna continue updating ORS each 4-5 months now or you gonna go back to monthly or bi-monthly updates in the future? I really love your games and I hope I'm gonna see more of it soon. Maybe you could add tiers and let people test your game in a early stage before you finish the drawings or something? Thank you
I don't think bi-monthly is possible anymore, unless I changed the way I release chapters. Right now I'm recovering from quite the burnout and I'm struggling to be as productive as I've always been, but I hope to ramp up the speed again soon and judge from there.

1. I did, it was great. I started being a Sage fan (redheads) but I have developed a sweet spot for Rinoa (too bad you can't get her scenes in the chick plath). And I really want to fuck Heather behind Tommy back, fuck that guy. 2. It helped me reflect on the different styles of writing that we have, and how they make things work differently. He relies a lot on visuals and has no descriptive text at all, which makes the game feel really cinematic and fast paced. Mine lacks that dynamism, but allows me a level of depth and detail that's impossible the other way around, so both have advantages and weaknesses. 3. Not really... I can't even remember the last game I've played, maybe it was the Last of Us 2... I've been wanting to play Disco Elysium and I love to replay Xcom2 from time to time, but the one I would really like to play (when the early access is over) if Mount and Blade2. But I'm afraid that's not compatible with developing ORS...
I just wanted to ask how much Stan is going to change, the Stan storyline is my favorite turn on in the game, the beautiful Lena being turned on by the idea of creepy Stan. I'm personally hoping he wont just be a clean nice guy now and retains his perviness. Keep up the good work!
I wouldn't say that Stan will "change", more like he will be "expanded upon". He's still a nerd who creeps on girls but he has an actual personality now, some good traits and some bad.
1. Are you still using a notebook for keeping track of all plot lines and variables, or have you changed to another tool? 2. What do your friends and family think about your work?
1.No, now I just use the scripts mainly, the annotations on the variables are usually enough. 2. They're surprisingly OK with it. They still show a morbid curiosity, but I've never really shared it with them, though they probably looked it up on their own. But they're mostly proud that I ended up making a living out of my art, something that they didn't necessarily believe I would be able to do (and I wasn't so sure either).

Perry has already seen some action, though not much... yet. Stan will still be an awkward nerd, yeah.

Before my question also adding my gratitude over all the awesome work you've done with this game. The question itself is about Holly. You've previously mentioned, unless I'm remembering wrong, that Holly had surprised you in how challenging it was to write her. If I am mistaken, naturally apologies, but if true, I am curious is it because she is the only prominent character interaction in both Ian's and Lena's stories? As I would imagine that makes it challenging to keep the character consistent despite the potential conflict in choices.
Yeah, Holly being a big love interests for both MCs is challenging to write. Also, how she develops as a character, if she opens up more or stays a shy girl. And how to write a shy character that's also engaging and proactive in the story

Hey Eva, I'm curious if you've thought what colour palette you would use when Holly gets her eventual make over from Ivy? Personally I'd like to see Holly rock a bright orange lipstick instead of a pink/purple/red. Something to keep her a little unique. Also how goes the Stan redesign? Is he fleshing out the way you want or are you running into hurdles with him still?
I think it would be really hard to make an outfit bright orange that would work with her personality(Holly was severely shy and she is just now starting to become corrupted) ( for Ivy I see her doing that because she's just the spontaneous one always looking for attention) I agree though she should get something that makes her unique compared to the other characters

I know the overall direction I want to take the story, which consists mainly about character relationships. But I let those relationships evolve and play out as I write the game.
Just a short one. Is there a chance that you Release some art from you on Redbubble, or some Art Website. I love the idea of having a big Emma Poster, or Shirt. Or THE Eva Kiss Tongue Picture.

Hello Eva, first of all thanks for your work. I want to ask: Is Gillian coming back to the game in the future? Is there any transsexual character to be expected in ORS as it was in GGGB? Which character from ORS you are the most satisfied of?
Gillian is already present in the game somehow, since her influence is still very present in Ian's mind. That's the way she plays into the story so far. Sadly, no plans for a trans character in ORS at this time. And I'm not sure I could pick one character, sometimes I really like specific parts I've written for different characters.
Thank you for your amazing games. You're truly a star! One of my favorite game developers and that's saying something because your games seem primarily cishet, which is not what I usually go for in gaming. That's a though one. Three books about how to survive in the wild, build shelters, start fires, grow crops, that sort of thing. Maybe some kind of philosophy book for some food for though (hopefully comforting). And if I had to pick someone to be my companion... Probably Lena. She's sweet,smart, resourceful, hardworking and super hot. :)

Yeah I'm getting worried the Jessica route may not happen at this point.
1. Did you purposefully plan to write Robert as an unlikeable character to most of the players, or did players' general dislike for him caught you off-guard? I'm honestly curious about this because, even though I don't dislike him, I can see he is very disliked by many, but even so he gets his fair share of Lena in almost every episode. Is he a character you like or have a fun time writing scenes with him? 2. Related to the first question - you addressed the criticism about the lack of good male love interests for Lena besides Ian. Did this catch you by surprise? Did you expect more players to like Robert, Mike or Axel, or you expected the player base to be more into the kind of content that GGGB was focused on (corruption)? I'm not sure how you can answer the next 2 questions because of possible spoilers about your future plans, but I'll ask them even so, haha: 3. Do you plan to follow up on Ian's and Axel's boy's night out and expand on them maybe building a friendship or is Axel supposed to end up as a full villain like Seymour looks to have turned into? 4. Can you confirm who are the official love interests for Ian (as in, characters he can end up having a serious relationship with)? Lena, Holly, Adison and Cindy seem to be fair bets. After last episode, Cherry seems to be one as well. I'm curious about Minerva and Ivy. Ivy is my favorite female character and, although few, I really enjoyed their short interactions together.
1.Robert was conceived to be a "bad" version of Ian, a guy not worthy of Lena's attention but who she could chose to pursue to simply satiate her lust. He was meant to have unlikable traits, but maybe I overdid it a bit too much lol. That's why I did a subtle rewrite to make him a bit less unsavory, but he had already gained everyone's hate. Though I've been trying to paint Robert a bit more as the "victim" recently, when Lena only uses him on a whim and doesn't care about his feelings at all, I guess Robert's that character that you just love to hate and that's fun
Last Q&A you wrote that ORS would have a 2 Act structure, there will probably be a time jump between the acts and that with chapter 5 we are about halfway through act 1. From todays perspective has any of this changed and how far are we now in the story? Also a follow up to last Q&A where you weren't sure if you could include Ed's storyline. Is his storyline still going or is it relegated to a DLC? This is a tricky question, because of spoilers but there is something seriously shady about Ivy. Tell me I'm not wrong. A question about everyones favourite character, Robert. Will he keep sticking around till the end of the game like stuck chewing gum? This is probably not relevant any more, but it does keep me awake at night. Who stole Louise's panties? Was it indeed Lola or was Stan more wicked than we thought (and alot dumber)? Is there a chance for Lena and Cherry to ever make up? Is there a chance for them to ever make out?
1. I'd say we're around the midpoint of the story, all major plot points have more or less been established. From here it's just a question of how I manage to develop the story, and how much I want to stretch things or add possible scenes. 2. About Ed, right now I have to concentrate in other plot-lines, but nothing's 100% decided yet. 3.You're not wrong. 4.Robert acts like a petty antagonist, and it seems he'll be making way for the big ones as the story moves forward. 5.Lola can be a naughty and sneaky cat lol 6.You'll have to wait and see how the plot develops! But Lena and Cherry's stories are definitely tied.

Please excuse me if I am asking already answered questions (I only read through a year of your posts yet) and feel free not answer if I get too personal, especially my last question: 1. Why has Ivy white hair? I know many like this, but is there a concept behind it, a role model, something? 2. Did you read Nietzsche and the other ones of Seymore's philosophers? 3. What is your favourite way to get bug-reports (and maybe when)? I file them because I wanna help and you seem to be a perfectionist. But I also know they might be frustrating. 4. You said you really like most the moment of the release of a new chapter. Do you also would like to read a little post about specific scenes that your players liked most, or is it nice, but too time consuming? 5. Does ORS already feel bigger/more complex than you thought or did you expect this level of complexity? 6. Do you sometimes feel pity for your characters when letting them "suffer"/make stupid decisions/ sell themselves "cheap"? I do feel bad myself when I make them do bad thinks for sure (but also enjoy it, shame on me :D ) . 7. I know you don't want to share to much personal, but I really wonder how old you might be. Your writing is so fresh you could be 22, but you let so much "wisdom" shine through, you could be 60 :D . Would you be ok with sharing at least a vast range? Are you under 40 between 30 and 50, over 40? EDIT: Ok, strike that "over 40"-range... just read your answer about a favourite Pokemon :D . 1. I gave Ivy white hair to make her stand out from the rest of the cast. She has a striking appearance similar to that of some e-girls, with tattoos and dyed hair. Of course she wasn't born with white hair, but she bleached it.
First thanks for all your hard work, i've been a member of both these projects from the start and you do a great job delivering consistently great content and updates! First, do you have plans to have some Ivy scenes with Ian or one of the other guys soon? :D Second, I really hope you keep making these types of games in the future. Have you thought about what that next project could be and whether you've considered branching out to try something with a different sort of theme like maybe a fantasy or sci-fi/space theme?
Thank you! Yes, I have plans for Ivy... But the way the story is progressing has demanded that I keep postponing them. But we will get there :) And about the future, yeah, I have many ideas and yeah, I would like to try my hand at other genres of VN aside from porn/erotic. But you guys are here looking for that, and I don't think my audience would be happy if I suddenly decided to transition to, let's say, fantasy or sci/fi. What I would like to do, and what I'm already trying to do with ORS, is adding other cool stuff and incentives to the game other than just the sex. ORS is a slice of life, much like GGGB, but the next project might go in a different direction, but keeping the sexy stuff...

The game, as you've said, is ambitious and might be difficult to trump. Do you think, assuming your success would amount to it, that you might even found a dedicated development studio and take on direct employment, assuming you could fund such a thing at such a point? 2. The museums of Madrid perhaps or taking in the architecture of Barcelona, maybe somewhere out in the countryside? Do you like to travel and gain inspiration from it? 4. I was wondering if you're willing to share how extensive modifications the player will be able to apply for Lena, or even Ian too, in future updates? We've had a couple of tattoo and piercing options so far, how about body modifications, hair styles, or for Ian beards, will those be options? 2. As a Holly/Lena shipper I am curious if Holly will get some of the same details to her route with Lena as she has with Ian, for example I have been hopeful that Holly might have a unique outfit she would start to wear when her and Lena can officially be together. I'm sure you could come up with lots of cute designs for her that could really differentiate Lena and Ian's routes with her. Any thoughts on that? 3. Something I have had enjoyed, but which seems somewhat hard to still anticipate, is Ian's optional relationship with Axel (as a friend) with the developments with Cindy and Wade, Ian seems like he becomes mistrustful of him on those routes, do you have any plans for them to actually become bros? 4. Ivy as an Ian option, there have been a few scant places where Ian could get agenda with her, is content between them something we can look forward to? Any hints? 5. Do you plan to include Wen in the wider narrative or will he remain a gym-bro to Ian for the duration of the story? I ask out of curiosity for his lust stat, it seems like there might be something surprising in the works. 6. How widely do you think Lena's sex toy options will be used for her different characters? Given that you can purchase the bunny suit instead of doing Robert's route I am hopeful to use it with various other options (or even to get other girls to wear it!) 7. I'll answer each question in a separate comment, since there are so many: 1. I often dream about founding a game studio and taking my creative endeavours to another level, but I'm far from the funding I would need to pull that off. Besides, there's a lot of technical, legal and financial stuff to manage, and I don't really want to do that: I'm a creative individual and I don't want to become a manager; all I want is to keep creating as freely as possible. But if I could find someone I could trust to take care of that, and if I had enough resources, I'd love to set something up. Right now I work as a freelancer and I commission work to other freelancers, maybe it's not ideal but it does the trick so far.
I am really intrigued by your work. With ORS do you often change ideas or routes from what was decided on the story boards, just because you felt different while working on the next chapter?
My way of working is rather fluid and yeah, a lot of time new ideas pop up while writing the chapters. Sometimes I even get ideas I want to add to previous chapters, that's why I'm going back now to fix several things before continuing forward.
Out of curiosity, is there any plans to add a gallery section to GGGB?
Not at the moment. I don't have plans to touch on GGGB for now, not at least until ORS is finished. I could commission that work to someone else, but I would need to find the right person and I don't want to micro-manage more tasks as it is. My brain can't handle any more!
I don't know if this was asked before but my question is with the success of GGGB and ORS, do you think it would be a good investment on expanding your team to improve more upon ORS and future games? Improvements such as more voice overs, animation, and etc.
I'm already expanding the team, commissioning the background art, hiring a colorist to help with the illustrations, a programmer, a composer for the OST, and the brave volunteers who help me bug-testing and proofreading, amongst other things... And now I'm testing the waters to hire someone to help me with the drawings.

I'm OK, as I wrote on the last posts these past months have been kinda rough due to several reasons but it's nothing that you guys should worry about: health is good, family and finances are OK, and I'm recovering from a bit of burnout after delivering chapter 9. About breast augmentation, if I do decide to go down that road, it will be further down the line, closer to the end. It was a ton of work in GGGB, and Lena already has a pretty voluptuous chest... Though maybe some other female character could be getting breasts implants , depending on your choices...
