Chapter 9 weekly status report (6)
Hi everybody,
I'm coming back from the underground to briefly update you about the progress on Chapter 9.
Today I finished play-testing a big block I have been working on, and I'm sending it to my testers to make sure it's polished while I work on the final, remaining block of this update. Sorry for the lack of updates, but for some reason I wanted to have this done before posting anything.
The writing is being harder than I anticipated and I'm kind of frustrated about taking so long, but I don't want to half-ass it. I haven't shown anything to anybody yet, so hopefully my testers will be able to tell me if I've been doing a good job with this chapter. I've been trying to write deep and interactive conversations and sex scenes that offer more than a simple yes/no, right/wrong choice, and maybe I'm making things more complicated than they should (what a surprise), especially in how the events are timed and linked together depending on your choices.
Anyway, I'd say writing is about 75% done, maybe (hopefully) even a bit more, and artwork is 90% complete. I will keep hammering at it and hopefully be able to release the Alpha real soon.
Meanwhile, here are two new scenarios you'll be visiting this update. They were leaked a long time ago, but probably many of you hadn't seen then. Can you guess which places are they?

NEED to tell you I really enjoy you story. Have found the twin lines of man/women fun/interesting. I will have to back track and change thing because some charters I wanted to be with I can't based on my current paths.
We are waiting for the continuation of the game, new emotions and impressions! I got bored from the long wait , so I want to fill the pause with a joke about birds ! Kind laughter prolongs and tones life ! Believe it or not, believe it or not!
Eureka! Blame the birds! Birds fly past the open windows in Eva Kiss' house, sing songs loudly, peek, make faces, shit on the window sills and interfere with Eva's work in every possible way! I envy the birds, they are like paparazzi, they know a lot!?!?

Yeah, are we still aiming for september release or are we way behind that- sounds like your still missing alot.
Nice to hear of you! I only hope, things don't get potentially more difficult with each new update. Are you already dreaming at night of the game twists ;) ? Hope, you can cut down some of the excess fat of the story for keeping the complexity at a managable level (not even thinking about reducing it). But on the other hand: It is hard for me to see any real uninteresting or superflous side stories that would be easy to get rid of. Poor girl ;/ ;)
Take your time. I think it’s better to release it only when you are satisfied with the results than rushing it and regret later. It might even create more problems for you down the line storywise if you don’t plan ahead and just roll with it for the sake of releasing early. As for the scene I think both of Mcs will go to both of the places. Ian meets with Seymour for Book and Axel to hang out. As for Lena, I think we all know what will happen.

Take all the new you need. Rather have your normal quality than something rushed.
