Chapter 7 weekly status report (1)
Hello! I've decided I will post weekly status reports on Chapter 7's progress.
I started work on this new chapter as soon as the Alpha for Chapter 6 was published. I've been making good progress on these tasks:
Basic plot outline and structure are established. These are alwyas subject to change while I work on them and sometimes I add some scenes that weren't planned or I'm forced to cut some due to time constraints or because they're replaced or will fit better further down the line. I'm looking forward to ass as much content as possible on this chapter.
I've designed new outfits for 3 NPCs.
I've finished drawing 5 new scenes, 16 new drawings plus several variations and one animation.
I'm almost done drawing one of the big scenes of this new chapter, 9 of 12 drawings total are completed. I think this will be the scene with more illustrations so far, and will have 1 or 2 animations.
I should finish this scene in the next couple days (a lot of care is being put into these new drawings) and continue drawing new outfits and scenes. I have a ton of things planned and artwork is the first thing I need to take care of in the pipeline, so I can send them to the colorist so she works on them while I tackle the script, which I'll do in a few weeks, when most of the art is done.

weekly reports would be great! loving the game.
Weekly report is nice and all and might be better to help increase the number of your Patreon but it might also put pressure on you so don’t feel obliged to it,

Since we're not really paying for a game, but rather giving you money so you can work on games, I think it's fair that you give us updates. The interval doesn't have to be weekly as long as they are regular. One of the nice things with Patreon is that you can follow the production during the whole ride, so the status updates are something I actually really enjoy reading.
I like weekly reports. DPC, BADIK's dev, also does this. PhillyGames, CoBD's dev, gives an update almost every week as well. Looking forward to tomorrow for 0.6 to drop to my tier. ;)

not sure every week is necessary... we'd rather you spend the time working on ORS. ;) Though, I suspect your releases might start taking longer due to the nature of so many different plots going on, so fan engagement might need to be more of a focal point.
I think status updates are a great idea. It gives an idea of what’s going on behind the scenes and also how the games coming along. Once a week is perfect schedule. By doing more then once a week i fear you might run out of things to things to say to fill the page. What could you say every three days that couldn’t be done once week? Also, doing too much of something in a short amount of time tends to make whatever you do go stale, like a joke. Once a week will make people jump at it when they see the notification, instwad of thinking “I’ll read the next one, if I have time”

Very cool idea to share your status! Nice way to look inside the development. Don't have to do it weekly if you feel like not enough progress has been made to warrant the report, but it's nice to know these details anyway.
Once a week is plenty. If you did them every two weeks, that would be fine. I think wha this most important to me is consistency in communication (e.g., not being ghosted for two months).
