Happy 2nd anniversary

Hi everyone,

I've been so caught up in finishing v0.27 that I completely missed that on the 26th of this month this Patreon page turned 2 years old! It's amazing how time flies...

In reality, it all started a bit before that. Around the beginning of April, 2 years ago, I finally decided to learn how to use Ren'py to create my own game. I spent that month working, drawing and writing and on the 26th I finally set up this page. I was quite excited and those humble beginnings were really fun.

Every day was a learning experience and I had no idea how to streamline the process, but seeing the first results of my project, a working computer game, was incredibly thrilling and motivating. But what really made those beginnings so enjoyable was your growing support and appreciation of my work.

It grew so much faster than I had anticipated. What started as an experiment ended up becoming my full time job and the first opportunity ever for me to make a living out of my creative skills, the only skills I really have. Life has changed so much since then, from facing a barren horizon, struggling to make a few bucks with menial and less than fulfilling jobs, to being able to afford a life and a future thanks to my own talents. And that is an opportunity that I owe every one of you who has supported me at one time or another, or even through the entirety of these 2 crazy years.

That's why I try to pour my soul in each update,  refusing to cutting corners and trying to write the most compelling and complex interactive fiction I'm capable of. It means a lot to me not only your support, but your encouraging comments, knowing you really enjoy what I'm creating.

I would've liked to offer something special for this 2 years anniversary, but I was so caught up I even missed it... Right now I'm feeling quite exhausted after finishing the alpha for v0.27 (the beta will be up as soon as the proofreading is done) and I have already started production on v0.28. Each update is more demanding and exhausting that the one before, and I still have to face the true test: the endings. That will be a task I'm very excited and afraid to take on at the same time. But even though I can't spare too much energy, I would like to know your suggestions on what would you like to see or get to commemorate this 2 years of uninterrupted work (I will need a long vacation after this is over).

Also, remember you can join our Discord channel https://www.patreon.com/posts/discord-channel-25351000

And just a few more days to post your suggestions for Eva's final design https://www.patreon.com/posts/evas-final-2-26120336

Stay tuned for v0.27 Beta and once again, thank you all :)

Kisses,

Eva

Will there be a story arc where Ashley saves some money by stopping to take her birth control? Would love to see her with an option of not being on birth control and she decides who uses condoms and who she may risk unprotected sex with or just anal and blowjobs.

I don't know about everyone else here, but I think you have given us something incredibly special already. Knowing that we each played a small part in making you feel more fulfilled is better than any reward tier money can buy. I wish these posts had a bigger <3 button. :p

Congratulations on two years of realizing your dream of supporting yourself with your passion and creativity! You should be proud! I have only been a patron for two months now as I just discovered your amazing game but I wish I had been with you from the beginning eagerly awaiting each new update!

I think that you should dedicate several months for the endings, and releasing them all at once. Better to spend the time to make it good, instead of creating something half-assed (like Mass Effect...). I don't have any real suggestion for any commemoration. Could be something just for fun, such as having a fan contest for creating new names for the tiers since only the $75-tier has a unique name.
