Chapter 15.1 ALPHA is out!
Chapter 15.1 is out for Dive tier patrons! You can download it here.
In this update, we're back to Ian's POV to see how his relationship develop and spend some time with her many love interests.
The content in this chapter is spread across many different paths. For those of you focusing on a single run, it's possible there's very little content in your playthrough, so consider that before you decide if you'd rather wait for the full chapter!
The Beta will be available the following Monday, and the Final version one week after that. Once the update is polished and stable, it will also be released on Steam and Itch.io.

Feedback on the Lena Cheating Path: Narrative Disconnect & Missed Emotional Stakes As a player who has spent hours thoroughly exploring the various narrative branches of Our Red String, I wanted to share a critical breakdown of my experience with the Lena Cheating Path (specifically the v16 breakup arc). While providing Ian the choice to walk away following Lena's betrayal is the correct structural decision, the narrative fallout fails to deliver realistic emotional consequences. Even for a player accepting of her promiscuity, the total absence of genuine guilt or self-reflection after betraying someone she claims to love breaks character consistency. To break down why this specific path feels so disappointing: Hypocrisy & Unaddressed Trauma: Lena’s choice to cheat on Ian directly mirrors the exact betrayal she suffered at the hands of Mark. The narrative completely glosses over this monumental irony. Instead of being overwhelmed by the agonizing realization that she has become her own antithesis—no better than the man she despises—she exhibits no true self-hate or internal reckoning. Absence of Consequences: Rather than treating the betrayal with the emotional gravity, social fallout, or lasting psychological weight it demands, the writing frames it as a casual pivot toward an uninhibited lifestyle. It portrays her not just as broken-minded, but as fundamentally incapable of understanding love, making the outcome feel less like a complex dramatic choice and more like a hollow narrative reward for an unearned betrayal. Mechanical & Structural Bias: From a player perspective, the underlying game variables feel heavily weighted toward Lena’s independent agency at the expense of mutual commitment. Even when striving for player loyalty with Ian, the system continuously funnels the story toward her independent progression, offering no justifiable path for a true faithful playstyle. After investing so much time into these characters, seeing a major betrayal resolved without genuine accountability or emotional catharsis leaves a sour taste. A character with Lena's backstory should be crushed by the weight of repeating her own trauma cycle; ignoring that moment of realization cheapens the story's overall impact.
If I bought the steam version does it shares my saved paths if I subscribe to the patreon to get this update ?
