Chapter 15.1 Status Report (11)
The new chapter is almost ready. I’ve finished the last remaining major scene, and I’ve been testing the main branches. I still want to do some additional playtesting, as well as review the writing and dialogue in a few scenes. The complexity and density of the interconnected branches and variations is considerable, and I’m sure I’ve missed a few relevant mentions or references.
Sometimes it’s hard to decide where to draw the line, whether to go into exhaustive detail by referencing past events, or to leave certain elements out in the interest of streamlining the experience. Testing every possible variation and interconnection is also difficult and very time-consuming, but I’ll do my best to release an Alpha version that’s both bug-free and narratively consistent.
My plan is to release the Alpha version of Chapter 15.1 this coming Friday. The Beta will be available the following Monday, and the Final version one week after that. Once the update is polished and stable, it will also be released on Steam and Itch.io.
Meanwhile, I’m continuing to write the continuation and conclusion of Ian’s part of Chapter 15, and I’ll keep pushing forward to have it ready as soon as possible.
