Chapter 14.1 Status Report (5)
As I mentioned earlier, in my plans the next chapter, which encapsulates the Billy event, will be split across three playable days. For now, my idea is to release it in two parts: the first covering the first two days, and the second focusing on the third. These days I’m finishing up the content for Day 1: I’ve already drawn about 95% of the art, which is now in the hands of the colorist, and I’m wrapping up the corresponding spicy scenes. I’ve also started editing some of the images, so they go from looking like this to something more like this:
Would you like me to consider releasing this first chunk on its own once I’ve received and finalized the graphic assets? Or do you prefer getting as much content as possible all at once? Let me know in the comments!

Yes, do it all together. Even if its a long one (I am not finished yet. I dont know how long it will take. I guess I am slow. I am saving too much)
I realise this is late, but I say release what and how you feel like, if people wants smaller chunks then they will be happy, if people wants bigger update then they will wait.
I'm fine with splitting up the chapter if that works for other people. My personal desire would be not to have it split up, but I could always wait and download more than one update at a time at a later date..
I'm really looking forward to this update!
I do enjoy long content but I also hate waiting, such a hard decision. Better to go with what works better for you, its never okay to overwork yourself

I think whichever approach keeps you more motivated is the best approach! I seem to remember you saying you got more motivated when you were able to publish content and get community responses.
I may regret this later, but I'll suggest releasing chapter 14 in two pieces. I'll regret the content ending quickly, but I like the shorter wait time.
The chapter wasn't going to come out in one piece anyway, what Eva is asking isn't if she should split the chapter as a whole up, it's if she should release what she's got made of Lena's section prematurely, the part she's got 95% done, while she works on the rest. Think of it as half the chapter being split into quarters or something along those lines.
I also agree that a larger chunk provides a more cohesive playthrough and feels better! I always return to the Ian/Lena/Axel drama so more of Lena as the focus is always great!
Please in larger chunks cause releasing smaller pieces will only leave us hanging in the middle of a scene or a mini arc. Actually you should release the whole Billy event in one update. Take your time with this one.
A little longer for more content is no problem but if it's going to add weeks to the wait I'd rather the partial update. Thank you for the great work!
I personally always prefer larger content. I actually haven't played or play most of the releases. I only play when there is an update to the Seymour ward path of things.
Hi, Eva. Lena looks very good. I wonder if the bikini she wore to the beach house earlier will return as well. I would prefer splitting the update. My preference is for larger chunks even if we have to wait however I also understand the need to find a balance between releasing a satisfying quantity of content and getting your work out there get the necessary feedback that keeps an artist motivated through a long project.
My opinion has always been that larger chunks are more satisfying to play. I opposed your move to split up Lena and Ian's part and I opposed it when you split them up further too at a later point. That said, what I think is more important is a sense of episodic cohesion, for example the update where Lena worked at the bar was a satisfying update because we got almost the whole event in one gulp, so to say. So my thought is that you should release the content in the way you write them, don't cut it up further arbitrarily but let us get everything that you intended for one "episode" of development in the original form that you designed.
I can't say that I'm not impatient to see the next update but there's no hurry. The larger the update, the better. Totally in love with Lena and I'm afraid that I can't see past Ian and Lena. I've tried other paths but always come back to them two together.
I hear ya. I'm just about always "Ian and Lena", "Ian and Holly", or "¿por que no los dos?". I'll try more routes when the game's done.
I'll admit, I used to be firmly in Camp Frequent Updates, but some of the recent updates have left me a little unfulfilled. So maybe for this chapter, getting all the Lena content in one go would be nice. Happy either way though!

I'd prefer as much content as possible that you take all the time you need to put together. I don't want to take in your stories by the teaspoon. But that's me.
For me its whatever works best for you. I can just skip playing releases to get more at once. I can see regular releases being good for devs since it can keep you in check and focused.

Hey Eva, thanks for the update, and I think Lena's drawing is really nice. Regarding the release, it should fit in with your plans. Only if you feel comfortable with your artistic approach will we as fans benefit. Personally, I would like a two-part release. ⚜️
For me personally, I’d prefer having it all come out a once. I like being able to sink my teeth into some a bit more substantial
I prefer getting more content at once even if it means waiting a little longer. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
