I dunno, I think he is a nice guy overall, but the way he handled the whole "going to Africa" thing sticks in my craw. When you are in a long-term relationship, you involve your partner at every step of such a major decision. You don't talk to her about it once everything is set and there is nothing she can do about it. Even my good Ashley is not going to wait for him - he'll come back and she will be Jasmin pet, and it'll be his fault.

I agree! Well, I can not overcome myself and take the hand of my father Erik. Because he looks much better with Ashley.
I like that he isn't a pathetic wimp, which seems to be common in this genre. Makes the good path worthwhile.
