Working on Version 0.5
Hey guys! First of all, I want to thank you all for your support! We're past 350 patrons right now and that blows my mind! When I started this project about two months ago, I didn't know if I would get more than 10 :P
I started work on v 0.5 already and I want it to be an epic update. My plans are to release it near the end of this month.
I want to take the chance adress some things about v 0.4 (spoilers):
Some of you thought it was a bit on the sort side or that it lacked a bit of sexual content. The truth is I try to make every update the same length on coding (about 4.000 lines per update) and as the story branches out, the contet will be spread between those specific paths. So you will need to try different playthroughs to experience all the content.
However, my main focus is to deliver a fun, exciting and coherent story and characters. Now that I'm getting the hang of it, I want to build up a decent storyline and explore the relationships between the characters (for example, Eva and Ashley's relationship can vary greatly depending on how you play, and I need to take that into account as the game progresses). I don't want to rush it too much and remove significance on the scenes and on Ashley's evolution as a character, which you guide as the player.
Quite a few are asking for more Tyrone, Dad, or girl on girl action. That's definintely coming! But I want it to happen at the appropriate time, with the appropriate build up. And since I want to update you guys with a version twice a month or so, I'm not able to cram everything in each one.
So maybe there will not be instant gratification, but I think that, in the overall picture, it will be more satisfying to develop the story at the pace I have in mind rather than force a specific sex scene at a given update just to satisfy instantly some kinky desires :P I would like to give you those scenes asap (they're in my mind and i can't wait to draw and write them!) but making each scene takes quite some time, unfortunately :(
Anyway, those are my thoughts. feel free to tell me what you think, this game is for you guys, after all. I want to be very open about everything with my patrons and followers, and I want to try and stick to my growingly ambitious vision to make this the best game I possibily can!

I think your game stands out from the crowd in good measure because you are crafting such a believable, immersive story with so many small but meaningful choices. It's obvious you care about your characters and allowing the players to guide them through in their own way. Take your time to make a game you can be proud of yourself! Kinky things will come to those who wait ;)

I probably will be the most perverted here, but somehow it turned out to go to the moment where Ashley and his father are asleep and he obviously wants something from her. I wonder if there will be a full branch with Dad? Or will everything remain at the level of hints?
I was actually thinking what a plot twist it would be if Iris started seeing Ashley's dad! It would kind of be Ashley's "sugar-daddy" thing with Arthur, but in reverse. Ashley's dad is stone broke, but Iris is fed up with Arthur dating young girls so she decides to do the same thing to teach her father a lesson (remember, she argues with Arthur about going out partying and wanting money all the time, we also know that she probably drinks a little more than she ought to, which can make her vulnerable, just like Ashley's dad is vulnerable from having been abandoned). Of course, neither Eric nor Arthur would approve of this relationship, but Ashley could sneak a peek at them "in action" if she wanted to. ;)
If I had any sort of request I'd want to be able to play with/chase after Dave behind Eva's back! (I have no idea if that's coming or already been implemented in an update since the public) I'm reaaaaaaally enjoying the game and hoping to become a patron soon :) Nice work on everything I've seen so far for public releases
Don't know about everyone, I really liked the update, scene with Jasmin was hot as hell, Ashley becomes bad girl faster and faster, we progress our friendship with Jessica (hope to see more stuff with her), that's what i expected. Very interesting situation with Eva, i like her new style, how bad she can get, and i'm excited to see how both (stay friends with her or not) choices turns out. Maybe she will fall into the same pit as Ashley did. And will understand who Jack really is. Maybe not. But it was strange for me too to see her trying to stay "buddies" with Jack and Dave at the same time. And why Jack seems okay with it, but not if it's Ashley. Seeing Ashley and Eva trying to bully each other was funny too. I'm not really a fan of "sugar daddy" aka Arthur, but if he would give her more and more "sweets", then i totally okay with some stuff. And lastly, i very excited to see mom's boyfriend and how situation with him gonna turn out. Oh, and i forgot to mention how i love Natasha. She's beautiful. I very like her face, hair and cute freckles. Definitely want to see more of her.
Yeah, exactly! Very pleased with how it's turning out! :) Really like the direction Ashley is going! If Ashley and Eva are at odds, and Ashley is really mean, I wonder what she'll do to get even? Or if they are friends, and bad asses, will they be a bad ass duo? Or if Ashley is good, and stays friends, will she try to cover for her friend if Dave risks finding out about her and Jack? Some unresolved questions introduced in previous plot lines I'm now awaiting to see if they are addressed or not include: 1) What's the deal with Iris and her home situation? 2) Who is Mom's new boyfriend, and why does he want to meet Ashley? 3) Who is Jack's lost love? 4) Will Tyrone's party be rad and will things get out of hand? ;) 5) Why is Jessica so insecure around other girls so that she only seeks herself to guys? 6) Can Ashley find a way to secure that scholarship after all?

I prefer your approach in exploring the relationship more with the character that the person chooses. Also in order to save your sanity you should also start planning it out in the form of an option tree that you can reference easily. Also its easier to have an end goal planned for each character already than to let the story grow with each update since it can really muddle and cloud the game.
What's the policy for public releases? Love the game so far and i'm waiting for the public. I agree that you shouldn't run scenes for a kinky scene, the story is awesome, your work is awesome <3

Bear in mind you can't satisfy everyone, and there will always be someone asking for somethig different. Don't fall for it, you are already doing a fantastic work on how you set up the game and their characters..going too "out of context" or skipping the build-up part to force sex scenes could ruin it.
You are making a fantastic game Eva, all I can say is keep up the good work. There will probably be some constructive comments but ultimately you should certainly stick to your plan and vision for this!
Exactly this! This shows that this game has so much more story and thought behind the characters than other productions of so-call "erotic fiction" In any regular "erotic novel", Ashley would be humping Dave right, left and center the minute he had stopped sketching her nude, but Evakiss doesn't take the cheap way out! No, Evakiss cares about the build-up, suspense and credibility of the characters. Maybe there will be something between Dave and Ash, maybe not, but I'm glad Evakiss takes the long view and takes consideration to context and characterization and that is what makes GGGB so much more than just an "erotic novel". There is drama and relatable characters throughout the story and I can't wait to see how it progresses over the next episodes!
Just to clarify, I don't take the comments as "whining" or "complaining" but as creative criticism! I'm very happy that people are invested in my project and I want to try to keep everybody happy and satisfied :)

I've loved all the updates so far they have all been good! Don't let people who whine ruin your vision it's yours and yours alone, it's fine to take feedback but what you are creating is so good I don't want other people to get you to do stuff or add things you don't want to! Keep up the good work as always and I can't wait to see what you come up with next! <3
My advice would be not to look at the number of lines of code per release. but amount of hot scenes. If that means delaying the release, then so be it. Then you still have a good build up to the scene. So you are not rushing the story.
Will it be possible to have a "healthy" relationship with Ashley's father? I'm asking because Eric's dad turned out to be a creep, no matter what Ashley does (she can choose to reject him by all means, but the guy is still a sleaze). As it is now, I feel rather sorry for Ashley's dad so I don't want to be a dick towards him, but I absolutely don't want to see anything incestuous with him so that's why I'm wondering if Ashley can have a "normal" relationship with her father without it turning weird in that sense?
please keep going your way and ignore complains.. there are already a lot of games that that are going down the drain cause the developer listen too much to their patreon and fit things just to make them happy (for that realease) and ruin their games. They don't want this, that, those and the game start to lack under a lot of aspects and in the end they complain that the game became boring and leave. So, to sum it up, do your things and do them smart!
I don't think she should ignore our complaints outright, but she should certainly take them with a grain of salt...
If you aren't all that happy with an older branch, I think it would be exciting to know that playing back through can result in new discoveries :). Loved the 0.4 update and upped my patronage to you for it :)
oh, and i didnt feel 0.4 shorter at all, it was just as consistent as the others... loved it
After readin all the comments here. I highly agree with 2 things in particular... With Harry, first of all, v0.3 was a statement towards everyone which sounded like "yes, this is the best game ever"... and with Breadloaf, no matter what we say, in the end stick to your vision... Cause it's your creation, not anyone else's and only you have they keys to what we call probably the best story game ever
I think it is good that we offer opinions on what kind of scenes and content we want to see, but in the end it is up to Eva to evaluate them. If it fits in her vision, great, like when El Macheto had an idea for the dinner scene. That worked well and fit into the game. But we don't know if our ideas are good or not, so offering them doesn't hurt. However, our pledges are votes of confidence in Eva's game and vision, not votes in some kind of decision making process. I personally don't expect that my ideas turn up in the game, and so should it be. We believe in Eva after all :)

I think the problem (if you can call it a problem) was that V0.3 was great. *SPOILER* the new content in V0.3 allowed you to have sex with eric, bj in car with jack, sex with jack, handjob with Tyrone, Dad getting off with Ashley in bed, Jasmine groping Ashely in shower. All really well written and done. I understand what you say that you dont want to force any sex scenes just for the sake of it. But you have set yourself high standards in V0.3
*SPOLIER* Just be very good through the game. And take Dad's side in the argument with Mum. When she leaves him, he will ask you to spend the night with him.
Great! I think you're doing a marvelous job and I like the direction this series is taking! I'm particularly happy to see two things,1: the introduction of cum shots (unfortunately though it was with Arthur, bleech :p ) 2: Ashley beginning the real transformation into a bad-ass gal with the new clothes and tats! I did notice that Ashley said that this was "her first tattoo". It sounds to me like she was speaking in plural i.e. that there would possibly be others in the future? :) Though I should admit, I kinda prefer the design on the one's that Eva and/or Jessica got (was actually a little envious haha). Also surprised that Jessica didn't already have a "tramp-stamp"! ;) Also, through with this update I learned that Arthur (Eric's dad) is a pervert och a sleaze in himself, not just because of having been enticed by Ashley's actions or whatever. Also, something that makes my curious which I'm hoping to get an answer to - *POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT* - why is it that Jack seems more "forgiving" towards Eva than Ashley? For instance, he seems willing to keep Eva on as a fuck-buddy on a regular basis in spite of the fact that she has a boyfriend, and doesn't seem to mind that she's obsessed with him (assuming it was Eva he hooked up with). However, if Ashley hooks up with Jack, he makes it very clear that he is not interested in anything more than a one night stand and tells Ashley he doesn't like "clingy girls" if she tries to hook up with him again. So my question is, why does Jack seem to like Eva better?
