The show improves when they introduce Worf in season 4.
SO SAY WE ALL!
Funnily enough - I found you guys via BSG. I wonder how much support of this is buoyed by Katie Sackhoff and her husband's watch, commentary and inevitable backstage info. They've just finished S2 as well.
W for sticking around
This is hilarious!
Well I hope you don't dislike it too much.... As you are each doing a solo S1 rewatch beforehand, it would be good to hear your thoughts re S1 after your rewatch - have your perspectives on anything changed etc..
Well they've gotten to the point to where they reference the expanse without *utter* contempt, lol. So maybe time will help their heart grow fonder.
Enjoy the surprises!
Very glad to see this is back on the list! You’ll like season 2.
im honestly glad you waited, there one particular reaction im waiting for now it gonna be good
Think we know what that is! ;)
Season 2 is better than Season One in my opinion.
I'm ready for the pain to begin again. I do like the show on the whole. But. It is an investment in patience. And I always averted my eyes during the intro spoiler reel. I really wish they didn't do that.
Totally forgot about the clips at the beginning spoiling the episode 💀🤣
Watching BSG even when you kind of don't want to is rather on point for the series, so it's just more life imitating art. 😅
Whatttttt??!!! Wild
Love both versions of Battlestar Galactica, and looking forward to the reactions. But fingers crossed that Babylon 5 wins next time.
I’m kinda shocked the Bridge crew went this way although I’m pleasantly surprised. I really loved your season 1 reactions.
....and Alex starts drinking again...
Ronald D Moore "I am......inevitable"
So say we all.* *All defined as >50%
BSG beeing my 2. favourite show of all (DS9 is no. 1) i am pleased you give it a second chance.
Glad they’re giving this another chance. I know the show wasn’t for everybody, but in my opinion it’s one of the best sci fi shows ever made.
*Insert dramatic drumming*
All this has happened before
Frack yeah!
ACTION STATIONS, ACTION STATIONS, SET CONDITION ONE THROUGHOUT THE PATREON
Piss
That photo alone was worth it!
FACTS!
Just don’t watch Caprica. Trust me.
Gotta do the whole series..... Gotta do the whole series.
I think they were all good choices. The Wire would have been great. But I think this will be a lot of fun as well. So let's go - looking forward to breaking out the DVD's. If i can find them...
It's been so long. I almost thought this day would never come.
Sorry about that guys, lol. Just 60 episodes, it'll fly by....lol.
Now that you're continuing the journey I'd better catch up with your reaction to the pilot and first season.
"The Expanse"... PART 2! Oh joy!
I went through the series some time ago and blogged the experience. Check out my Galactica hate blog, frackgalactica.blogspot.com if you want defector opinions. I also covered the OG show and 1980. [Edit: yeah… you may want to avoid it for now. There are some Trek spoilers in there. And X-Files. Mostly minor, but better safe than sorry.]
I still think the boys would love something fun and episodic like Sliders, but as a non Bridge Crew pleb, I guess I'll have to settle for having my soul dragged through the depths of despair again on a BSG rewatch ...
Competing with Katee Sackhoff/Starbuck who reacts to the show now on YouTube? Not the best idea of the Bridge Crew.
The way the algorithm works, this is more likely to increase TA exposure to potential new viewers than compete. Could be a good thing, though I'm sure that wasn't the motivation.
I wonder if BSG will hit differently now that you’ve seen more Star Trek and especially DS9. I’m not saying you’ll like it more, necessarily, but the kinds of things Ron Moore does as a writer might resonate more now that you’re deeper into the Moore content-verse. But either way, we get to see, and that’s exciting. 🍻
I wish they saved this for after DS9 ends. I don't like that people voted for this show right now :/
Well color me very surprised after y'all said you would never go back to this BSG. I am happy you are going to give it a second chance. Just goes to show to never say never.
Darn. I was hoping for Series McSeriesface to win the poll. :(
Series McSeriesface hasn't been good since Chevy left. 🙃 And the British one was better.
Yay! Great news. The only show in the poll I own.
*Surprised Pikachu face*
I am really pleased that you'll be revisiting this and I hope this season hits better for you than season 1 did!
This makes me very happy. I think you guys will warm up to it the way you did DS9.

Not as bad as the random snap zooms. Are we supposed To think there are actual cameras in space recording this? Man I always hated the way this show was shot.
Poor Galactica 1980, always skipped over, the red-headed step child of the BSG universe 😭
But that's where BSG *really* starts!
Even though it's one of my favorite shows, I'd prefer you guys watch it *after* your current Trek journey. But oh well.
Season 2 is my favourite season of the show, so I'm scared how this is gonna go #moreMoore
very well, I own the DVD collection, no further streaming subscription needed ;)
Huzzah!
