I just learned that 0% doesn't mean "no votes"

This one never really hit for me, but I was in the middle of high school and didn't appreciate it. If I watched it for the first time in my 40's I probably would have liked it more, but when I saw what episode you were on I thought "oh no not the one where fake Kira is in the rock the entire episode". I still think the Nog stuff carries the episode.

I voted for B, only because I know DS9 can get several levels better than this

I was going to put A because the it’s not really Kira story always makes me a bit annoyed but in this rewatch I realized you actually learn a lot about the female changing too. Like how well she can mimic someone. Also when Odo says we’ve been in worse situations and fake Kira says oh yeah name 3. She is trying to learn more about Odo. It’s kind of great. Odo character development excellent. Nog wow I love it. S

For me I got so immediately into the Nog story the first time I watched I mostly found the Odo stuff boring but I see the benefit

The only thing that holds it off the S tier for me is that any believability that it isn't a Changling is ruined by the choice to use the changlingesque computer graphics for the rock. If they'd built it up slowly out of bacofoil without showing it moving I wouldn't have assumed immediately it was a founder. Everything else sort of perfect.

I imagined I'd be in the minority here

It's A-tier for me, but I totally understand the S-tier voters. It's a great episode, but it's an A for me because there's no plot to speak of. It basically pauses the series to focus on some character development for Odo and Nog.

I thoroughly enjoyed the A plot I bleep-ing LOVE the B plot! While my opinion is pretty much in line with the general consensus, I still wanna be on the record -- Nog RULES!

The B plot is S+ The A plot is a B+ Nog is amazing, and my favorite DS9 character. Love this episode.

This is a B a plot with a S++ B plot. A B plot so strong k remember it solely for that. And it's soooooo good it elevates the entire episode to S for me. Nog saved my life. I'll explain how later.

The Nog plot line really stuck with me over the years. Forgot that it was paired with the cave story, but I did remember that too. A, more so for Nog. Odo telling the story is a good scene.

I want to give it higher than a B, but Nana Visitor stuck in such a silly rock-prop always brings it down for me. So, the highest of B+++++.
