I remember reading once that Nana Visitor once said that the Cardassian makeup for this episode took about six or seven hours that it usually to took for other actors playing Cardassians. She had to arrive at 1 am for the 8 am shoot. She said it gave her a greater appreciation for what other actors playing certain Star Trek aliens had to deal with.

Why would Diana Mauldaur not return as her character- I dunno! Why would Robin Curtis not return as Saavik? ^ Nice little noncanon book mention. Mira Romaine got a psychiatric institution near Betazed named for her. It's specialised for assessing particularly 'gifted' individuals. I did enjoy how the novels did a fairly good job of filling out an expanded universe back then. I believe Michael Westmore did makeup from TNG to ENT. Racking up nominations and awards all the way. DS9 was probably his most intensive period. *Looks at Quark and all the people wandering around the promenade* Alex.... Masochist or Sadist? You like her crying?!

The bloody Cardies can't be trusted
