"One of the most heavily armed warships in the quadrant in the hands of the Maquis..." Though little ship, huh?!
I see what you did there!
Great trailer! Way to keep the surprise!
Enjoyed it did ya? It's not over yet!
I wouldn't have thought you could make a trailer this great without spoilers. Well done.
The Obsidian Order approves this trailer.
43s Go on Cliff Bole another nice panning shot of HQ!
Yeah we're going to bring a great character back, then completely kill all respectability.
Nah
There is going to be a couple pops at least.
How the hell do I wait till Saturday to watch them with this episode?!?
I believe in you brother.
Next Time on STaaaaaaar-Trek Deep Space 9! A Familiar Face Shows His Face (rips off side burns) But Not alls what it seems. Catch it in the next Exciting Episode (Kira Gets Shot). That's how the Season 1 TNG trailer guy would've done it
Mad respect for these guys for carefully cutting around one of the big big twists of this episode that the OG teaser trailer could not WAIT to reveal right out the gate.
How you were able to fill that out while never including Riker, I have no idea. Impressed.
Excellent including a clip of Josh and Alex at the end
One of the most heavily armed warships? The one that got it's ass kicked in the season opener?
Alex, you don't need a burner account we all know it's you. /s
Can't wait to see two "pops" in particular. Will the appearance of Riker get a bigger reaction or will the true identity reveal?
Cool. My first thoughts about the Defiant was that it looked like a tick. But it grew on me...no pun intended. When you guys going to post the package opening??
There are a plethora of package openings recorded. They will come out periodically as they have been.
Okay, now do an "O'Brien fights the station's systems" montage set to Monkey Wrench. We're waiting ...
My guess is they didn't like it... Happy to be proven wrong... 😌
But I think they will go insane for "You did it Tom."
Tell me you guys jaws didn’t drop.
Nice work…what else could possibly be in store for this episode…?
First of all, this was great. Especially the parts where the dialogue was isolated at the beginning. Second of all the IRL trailer showed ****** from the first frame. (I hope they've seen the episode and I can say that).
the trailer being released means they have seen the episode. Towards the end you can her an udio clip from their reaction where Josh says oh my god
NOICE!! BTW - You could have included him. No one will recognize him without the sideburns or Avery Brooks' uniform
Oh. Hell. Yeah!
What’s this? No major spoilers in a Star Trek trailer? I didn’t think that was possible!
Definitely not what I grew up with.
And again you guys create a fantastic trailer…. And Without ruining the special *****
so can't wait for this
Just the audio at the end was great.
Sisko: "When I find the person responsible for taking my baby out for a joy ride..."
That's what he said about Mardah.
And you thought we were done with the Maquis plot line.
Third Chances
That was good :)
Trying to avoid spoiling for anyone that plans to watch along for the first time but my prediction is that they think the guest character is a changeling. I won’t say how true or not that is.
except we almost immediately see the two maquis people we've seen ebfore after the reveal. I dn't think we need to worry about spoiling other people here.
Great trailer and well done for holding off on the twist. But I bet your audio reaction was to that twist ;) Looking forward to this!
Hi, Josh. Yeah, Rick Berman here. I love the trailer, but how would you feel if we put Riker in it everywhere. And maybe a voiceover that said, "Thomas Riker returns..." and ends with the kiss between him and Kira. Other than that, perfect.
I actually felt my eyes water in anticipation of this reaction... bring it on!!!
Between this and Generations, I guess the Riker legacy is to lose ships as soon as they command them. But damn if it isn’t fun getting there. Like everyone else, I’ve been geeked for this one for a long time. 🔥
Attention Bajoran Workers! Trailers will continue until the Winstreak drops. (Should be now the longest Winstreak of Banger Episodes?)
I don’t even think there was a streak of 8 before tbh.
Let’s go!!!
I have this nagging feeling there's something missing in this trailer.... Can't put my finger on it. I Will figure it out.
Maybe you’ll figure it out TOMorrow
I expected a reveal in the last 3-5 seconds lol. Great trailer, enjoyed it very much!
No way! Not this time.
I see what you did there...
I was praying that Alex or Josh didn't guess who it was before the reveal.
no way
Been waiting for this one. Can't wait to see your full reaction.
Gotta believe I know exactly what moment the laughter is from.
Geez, if all of these epic trailers (awesome to not reveal the twist in this one) aren't greatly increasing your viewership something is very wrong. Now you know why Season 3 is so great. Lots more joy in this and future seasons.
Season 3 is okay. Wait'll they get to Season 4, when DS9 *really* starts. 😏
argh! can't wait!
Oh, no. The Defiant has gained sentience and joined the Maquis!
The Enterprise makes a tubular space baby and puts the crew through riddles. The Defiant, just decides to go after Cardies.
Not mentioning this episode AT ALL for months on end wasn't easy.
Aim for the bushes!
From "Star Trek Generations" writer Ronald D Moore. Not exactly his best work 😆 Glad you two liked it tho
Another banger song choice... and buried the spoiler. 👏👏👏👏👏
That Chief moment is the moment you realize something is off (I wasn’t expecting a potential trailer till Thursday, but it is Tuesday.)
I think the Chief confirms it, but he doesn't seem 100% like his namesake from the beginning.
Also, I got Ace Rimmer vibes from Riker's final moments with Kira on the Defiant's bridge. I realise they have to send him off with a final flourish, but it was a bit OTT for such a good episode.
Hell yeah, a whole trailer about the Defiant! What a ship!
Yeah.....um....I wouldn't refer to the Generations script as a reference for Moore. Even he and Braga accept this was sub-standard.
It's just fun because Generations just came out before this.
Now you can see why we love this little ship. And a great Episode all over.
Little?
Ooh very good not spoiling the twist too much
I like the choice to not include the twist. i can only assume the reaction at the end is when it is revealed.
You know they're going to recognise his voice before the camera cuts to his face!
The stinger of your Pop at the end is what we all have been thinking about for this episode!!
Mate, keeping that spoiler free, epic!!!!
Great trailer. Saturday can't come fast enough.
It's tomorrow release
Awesome, hiding the thing just like an official trailer would!
Even back in the 90s, they didn’t give this one away. They just told us Riker was back. It was a genuine surprise.
Love the little snip of what I can only assume is the reaction to the twist.
I really hope you didn't figure it out.
In the history of first time viewing the number of people that figured it out has to be super low
