GalaxyCon Columbus!
Josh here,
Attended my first con today to meet Gates McFadden and praise Genesis. I also met Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, and William Shatner which was cool too!
Had my first ever irl TA fan interactions; shoutout Michael and Jennifer!
Also, say hi to my wife Hailie.

Awesome!
I take it that’s your wife Josh next to gates on the other side. It’s finally nice to see what she looks like.
No Alexander photo op?
Wow, second mortgage, eh? Jk Really cool pics, Josh, looks like you had a blast.
That’s awesome! Did you fan girl out at Bev Dr.c! ?
No pic with Shatner?
Man Jonathan Frakes is TALL
You guys make a cute couple
Him and Gates?
Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos. 💖
The only convention I've ever went to was in Grand Junction Colorado when I was like 11 but I still have my autograph picture of Gul Dakat that Mark Alamo signed. Glad you had a good time
Did you show Gates your “Directed by Gates McFadden” t-shirt?
Not this time
Wow. Gates look great!
Dude! It was great meeting you.
Likewise!
Gates McFadden and Alex isn't there?
He was there lol
My god, Frakes is a big man!
Beyond cool! Great stories for the grandkids.
Glad you and Hailie had a good time. Hope you managed to avoid spoilers.
It's scary to think how tall James Cromwell must be (from 'The Hunted'), given Frake's height.
The guy from Babe? He is 6ft 7.
Hi beautiful wife Hailie!!! Okay who is #8? A writer? Director? If he was single and had a Trogdor t-shirt on, I'd be asking him out for coffee.
I remember the excitement when DeForest Kelley attended Midcon , the only time I think he attended a U.K.convention. He was so easy to chat to. Also have such fond memories of meeting the lovely Nichelle Nicolls and Jimmy Doohan. I owned and bred Newfoundland dogs for decades, and my Kennel Club unique kennel name was (and still is) Startrek . They all had Startrek names like Startrek Captain James Kirk , Startrek Beam me up Scotty etc. I took my dogs to many conventions and they met George Takei, Bill Shatner and later on many of the TNG and DS9 cast. My last convention was at The Royal Albert Hall when I remember Avery Brooks singing - he had a stunning voice. Great memories - enjoy them Josh.
Hi Hallie!! It looks like you guys had an amazing time at your first con. I've been to so many, and my hallway wall tells that story in photos and autographs. But seeing Shatner's signature here...yeah, that one killed me. Star Trek and I are the same age. It's special - so are the people, the actors, and the fans. So glad to be on this journey with TA. LET'S GO, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and beyond!
How was it? Were you a tongue-tied fan-boy or did you keep your composure?
Thought I might pass out meeting Gates, but the rest I was chill
Excellent!
"Out-punted his coverage." - Jim Ross
There’s pictures of Frakes as Captain America on the White House lawn in the 70’s. I’ve always wanted him to sign a print of that.
That picture was on his table lol
You and Hailie look so happy, Josh! What amazing memories for you both to share! I remember first meeting the TNG crew in 2014 at the con in Las Vegas when I lived there. I was so nervous and exhilarated! Turns out Brent Spiner and I both attended the University of Houston, so we chatted about that! One of my favorite memories at that same convention was getting to meet and take pics with Richard Hatch, Captain Apollo of BSG, before he died. Treasure these photos, buddy! This is just the beginning of your celebrity sightings!! LLAP! 🖖😎
Honestly shocked your first fan interaction wasn’t a Bat’leth in the back for the hot take on Blood Oath.
Murdered over an episode I liked 🥲
Gate looks great. I don't like the episode. I don't think many people do.
Whos is on the left in that 8th picture?
TA fan Michael!
Gates still looking good
Hey everyone, it’s Hailie! Also, I didn’t realize Frakes was that tall (and Vice versa) 😂
I know, I’m 6’5 so he must be over 7 feet! 👀
Oh wow!!! What fantastic photos!!!!!
Great photos guys
Josh def married up! Lol looks like yall had a great time
Super awesome, you should try to make the big one in Vagas, George Takei and Walter Koenig are supposed to be there, who knows how many more appearances they are going to make
AMAZING shots of you & Mrs. Josh "wandering amongst the stars". (on a Trek) 🤪
Great photos! And I love the autographs, especially "Captain, at last!" -Gates McFadden & "A fine human?" -Brent Spiner lol
That’s awesome. The TNG crew all seem like awesome people and it’s great you got to share the experience with Hallie
Nice. Hello Hailie
Thanks for sharing, looks like a good time was had by all.
Gates is the best. I spent a good chunk of time talking to her about anything and everything when I am at the Vegas convention.
She was indeed the best
I just met them too! They're all great
Hi Hailie ! Looks like a great time.
Great that you got pictures with them as well although Bill Shatner looks a bit different then I remember on the last one 🤪 Also pleased to finally see you Haillie, hope you had a good time too? Maybe a special TA appearance video discussing your con appearance alongside Josh?
Hi Hailie! Looks like a great time at the con. Cool pics.
This is awesome! 🙌 Looks like you both had a great time.
Awww man that's a big smile, congratulations 🎉🎉
Oh, man! I had plans to go to this one, but financially it didn't work out. Can't wait to hear the stories!
Very cool! Always fun going to cons and seeing the cast in real life. Good to see you looking so happy!
