Josh and Alex, although in some ways this ep was a disappointment for you, after we get a bit further in the series, some day will you go back and watch this for Cress Williams' scenes? For as little as he is in this episode, wow! He nails it!
It's always interesting even before this how much music can change a scene. Another great interpretation and scene choices. Side issue, got love Quark!
HEY!! You got plot in my character moments!! Yeah? Well you got character moments in my plot!! (Spooky DS9 theme plays)
The beginning reminded me of those older fan-made "trailers for a movie, but re-edited to present the movie as being a different genre." Like "Shining", which presented The Shining as if it was a romantic comedy family movie, or "Scary Mary" which edited Mary Poppins as if it was a horror film.
You guys always choose the best songs that are perfect for YouTube creators.
All that's missing is Requiem for a Dream.
How are you so good at this?!
:D I loved Cress Williams in this ep. You guys are amazing. It really wasn't your thing but you know how much the fans love it. A great trailer + PLOT! = True Fan Service. <3 Merry Christmas Alex and Josh!
“The. Plot. Is. Here.” Died 🤣🤣
ANOTHER. BANGER. TRAILER.
So, you guys coming around yet?
regardless of how they felt aboit ths intro to the Dominion, they will be watchingn oall of ds9 so they wont be intentionally biased against the directionn dds9 is going in
Bro, you actually have a fuckin’ talent for this.
Lol the opening music is so great knowing where the episode ends up.
This is the story how we lost a galaxy class starship. So, one morning Jake and I decided to go for a picknick...
Well done gents. Making things look even more exciting than it already is!
that was awesome!
Also, as the others are saying, you really should either avoid or have someone else filter YouTube comments from now on, or you're probably going to see/read things you don't want to know.
I know I'm a broken record on this, but do these have louder than normal audio for anyone else? That aside, another nice job.
They are loud, yes.
I love that song! Send me on my way. It began as a joke but now it’s literally my favorite song.
Keeping the twist reveal line as a VO to avoid spoiling the plot 🤌
“The Story Is Here.”
Someone from another galaxy said it best: This is where the fun begins!
I hear the regret for mocking the Dominion plot already. And maybe it's only a few episodes away.
I say you nuke the entire YouTube comments section on this one from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
Yeah. I still see accounts riffing on DS9 memes and shrugging their shoulders when called out on spoilers. Avoid at all costs YT comments.
The Youtube comments are going to be epic on this one!
A lot of YouTube subscribers about to get mislead by this one lol.
Epic trailer. No wonder this episode is universally loved. lol
Universe minus two
Ohhhh yeah
I was told it was Jem Dahar.
lol
😂😂😂 almost spat my tea out when the huge lettering came up! You should definitely release this on YT before the reaction comes out
You have no idea what's begun here......great choice of music before the cut.
"THE PLOT IS HERE" Damn right.
Facts
But the most important question of all remains unanswered... Has Josh learned how to say "Jem'Hadar" yet?
Jen New Car
GREAT OPENING MUSIC CHOICE!!! HA! LOL
