Ends less well than it starts but Cal and the Gul suggest three letter names and titles are the way to go on DS9 guests.

I just can’t get over the anti-climatic fight in the end.
By now Josh & Alex know the Maquis is a wider ST story. The reason the Maquis were created is something I can't say here. So we have to go through the motions to an extent, with the DS9 writers being prohibited from doing anything definitive. It's basically a teaser trailer.
There are better episodes on the way but I'll still give it an S.
There’s no way Sisko was going to change Cal’s mind. The guy is a Starfleet commander too. He is totally acquainted with Starfleet/Sisko’s point of view and has deliberately turned his back on it and thrown away his career. To think he hasn’t already looked at the situation from all angles is silly.
