has anyone called that phone number?
We want more! :D
PLEASE continue! I am LOVING this show. :)
I'd love if you guys continued this, even if it just comes as a batch of episodes every few weeks
“Wayfarer Airlines” is from the Breaking Bad universe, as you may recall from season 2 (no spoilers). FWIW, I don’t think that implies this is in the same fictional universe and all that would imply, probably more of an Easter egg for sharp-eyed viewers.
Feels it’s also an observation that the pack of cigarettes that Carol was smoking from in the first episode were Morley’s
I hope you keep doing these for a number of reasons but the primary being it’s cool to watch something contemporaneously with you guys where we don’t know what’s gonna happen either. If you do watch you won’t have to worry about hearing ‘pay attention to this guy or this is when Plur1bus gets good, or Alex favorite type where there are 50 different replies about why Vedek Boreil rocks.
Lots of interesting questions. Did Pirate Lady looking back at Carol indicate some sort of Hugh-like moment of individuality that will lead somewhere? Also, does the collective have any goal beyond spreading the virus? I mean, after they're done with the cleanup, are they just going to build an Africa-sized transmitter to send off the signal somewhere else? And then what? They don’t seem to be part of another collective on another planet. So does everyone on a planet this happens to eventually die off? Or is the distance too vast to establish a connection?
The third episode dropped this evening and I couldn't wait but I'll be happy to watch again with you boys.
I really liked episode three that’s all I need to say for now
I may actually watch this show now
Be sure to place a monitor in front of Morn
It’s my understanding they built the middle section of the Air Force One set and the rest of Air Force One was a CGI. I don’t know as I can’t see it how that actually applies but if that’s true that is Again another excellent use of mixed media.
They explain how they did AF1 in the official podcast.
For myself I love it so far as it could go in any direction and am excited to see what we get.
These omniscient beings that are the collective new that there were 11 people that were in the world like Carol including herself, but then they mentioned that there’s a 12th person who they just discovered how did they not know what vulnerability is this? Also, if these invaders are susceptible to emotional outburst that kill them. What kind of invader are they? How dangerous can they be other than the actual creation of the collective?
Well, they already said they can’t read minds. Basically, they only know what’s in each other’s minds and what everyone connected sees or knows about. If someone who wasn’t affected was isolated in some way when the connection happened, they wouldn’t know about them until one of them discovered him.
I really like the scene where they helicopter the digger machine to Carol’s property, that was had to have been an expensive shot. APPLE wrote them a big check to use for making the series and they didn’t just turn it into CGI. It’s practical effects and or some CGI is used minimally
It’s almost like they’re listening to us the viewers more and saying all right all right we have swam down the river of CGI too far. Let’s pull it back.
