YOUTUBE - Squeeze | First Time Watching The X-Files S1E3

I'm sure there is some influence from King's IT but according to the writers, James Wong and Glen Morgan, their main inspiration came from Jack the Ripper and large ventilator shaft outside their office. Morgan asked Wong, 'What if we were working here late at night and some guy came THROUGH that thing?'. This is the first of many 'Monster of the Week' episodes. One tip: You guys keep talking how the X-Files is about aliens, it would be more accurate to describe X-Files is about 'The unexplainable' Keep going guys, guaranteed you guys will love it and WE all will too.

Really hope you guys continue with the X-Files...I know at which point you'll become addicted, as I was lol

Deep Throat is a reference to the Watergate scandal. The whistleblower’s code name used when speaking to the reporters was Deepthroat.

I think this was the first episode I ever watched, messed me up good and proper

I thought they did a good job of coming up with a monster that is legitimately creepy and feels at least somewhat original.

Great episode. Genuinely creepy!

Too funny I just listened to the full version at work to get the view count up. Now I will watch this multiple times...

This is the only full episode of x files I've ever watched 😂
