Dolly Mai | simdump

“I can feel you all around me, thickening the air I breathe…” Every single time I look at Dolly, I think about Flyleaf. Dolly Mai is a punk-rock Christian girl who follows both Christ and her own sound. She’s creative, emotional, a little loud stylistically, but still deeply grounded in who she is. Her aspiration is Neighborhood Confidante and her traits are Geek, Music Lover, and Loner.

Style-wise, Dolly sits somewhere between punk rock, alt-girl, and soft rebellion. Oversized band tees, layered jewelry, chunky shoes, messy music playlists, and that “I thrifted this and made it cooler” energy. She’s expressive without trying too hard.

comparison — 2024 vs 2026

The biggest change with Dolly is that she officially moved from Alpha to Maxis Match and honestly… I think it fits her way better. The older version was cute, but this new one feels more natural, softer, and more expressive overall.

✎﹏Special shoutout to all the CC creators used in this set. I don’t claim any of this CC — I just style it.

note

I really loved making Dolly. As you guys know, all of my Reloaded Sims are moving into a more modest direction. But what made Dolly feel especially important to me is that she’s also a paraplegic. Finding outfits and styling that still showed off her legs, her personality, and her confidence was really important to me because I didn’t want her disability to feel hidden or erased.

Showing you don’t have to hide the parts of your story that make your testimony stronger.

And if you want another Reloaded Sim with representation included, definitely check out Tanya Kennedy too. She’s hearing impaired and still one of my favorite Reloads I’ve done so far. 𖹭

Until next time —
