CoriusCon 04 - Recap

Hi Gang,

Over the last weekend, hobbyists from across Europe and even beyond made their way to Berlin for the fourth iteration of CoriusCon, a narrative weekend event dedicated to my favorite tabletop game: Necromunda.

From complete newcomers to long-time Ashen Trials veterans, players fought their way through five games across two days, all connected through a narrative campaign with the incentive of trying to please the Patrons in the Spyres, full of intense firefights, desperate last stands, and unforgettable moments.

CoriusCon 04 brought 19 handcrafted tables with immersive terrain, custom scenarios, and expanded narrative mechanics to the event.
Every board told its own story: From Ash Waste outposts, logistic hubs, scrap yards and Sump Sea settlements to claustrophobic underhive corridors filled with danger around every corner. Thanks to all of you, this year’s event once again felt super atmospheric, and more alive than ever before.

Outside the games, the hobby side of CoriusCon was just as active. Visitors and players spent time kitbashing from the ever-growing community bitz pile, talking hobby, sharing ideas, and simply enjoying the creative energy that filled the venue throughout the weekend.

What makes CoriusCon special to me is that it never feels like “just” a tournament. It feels like a gathering of people who genuinely love this hobby, the storytelling, the creativity, the ridiculous moments on the tabletop, and the enthusiastic community around it.
Every single person attending helped create the atmosphere that makes this event what it is.

Seeing so many beautifully painted gangs, converted miniatures, cinematic moments, and passionate hobbyists all in one place was honestly incredible. Every year the community brings something new, and every year I leave feeling inspired for the next one already and I hope the same is true for all the participants, gamers and visitors alike.

The level of painting and converting was absolutely insane this year and I would like to once more thank everyone for their efforts to make CoriusCon the most beautiful Necromunda event in the world.
