KIARIKA Inside | FC 27 Development Update

We've put together this post to share some updates about our mods for FC 27. We want to be more transparent with you and keep you informed about our plans, the current state of development, and what you can expect from KIARIKA this year.

Will there be KIARIKA Mods for FC 27?🤔

Yes! We're already developing KIARIKA Career Mode Overhaul for FC 27, and development is quite far along.

There are still some details to polish and adjustments to make, mainly because of the new content we're introducing this year. For now, we'd rather not go into too much detail, as we want some of these additions to remain a surprise.

Will there be a KIARIKA Wallpapers Overhaul this year?🩷

EA has changed how the game's backgrounds work once again, for the third year in a row.

We haven't had time to experiment with these changes yet, but we're 99% sure we'll be able to modify them again. What we still don't know is how far we'll be able to take these modifications.

Who knows, maybe we'll even have animated wallpapers this year! We're not promising anything, but it's a possibility.

If we manage to develop the mod this year, we promise to provide more updates and content. During FC 26, due to our workload and limited time, we weren't able to expand the mod as much as we would've liked. We apologize for that.

What about KIARIKA Optimization Overhaul?💚

This is an interesting one. While it might not be our most popular mod, we know many of you love it.

Our intention is to bring it back as soon as possible. There's even a chance we could release it alongside Career Mode Overhaul in our first release for FC 27.

However, we want to make it clear that this is a possibility, not a promise.

And KIARIKA Gameplay Overhaul?💙

This is probably the most difficult question to answer, as gameplay is highly subjective and everyone has their own preferences.

For now, we'll most likely return to focusing exclusively on Tactical View this year, without making additional changes to traditional gameplay.

This is mainly because we have much more extensive content plans for our main mod, Career Mode Overhaul, and we want to focus our efforts on those.

Will you be doing anything new or different this year?💡

Yes, we have plans!

As always, we want to be realistic: plans can work out or change, as circumstances and available time aren't always within our control.

One of our main goals is to introduce new countries and expand the international experience through future updates to Career Mode Overhaul.

We can't provide estimated release dates for this content yet, as our priority is to deliver something as complete and polished as possible.

What about compatibility with other mods?🚨

Due to some of the changes we'll be making and the new content we'll be introducing in Career Mode Overhaul, compatibility between our main version and other mods, such as FIFER, will be quite limited.

However, we'll continue offering Compatible+, our well-known lightweight version of the mod.

This version will include career mode improvements and some visual changes, such as trophies and other elements, allowing for greater compatibility with third-party mods.

As for potential compatibility between our main version and other major mods, such as FIFER, we can't confirm anything at this point.

It's something we'll evaluate over time, as developing compatibility requires work and availability from the different modders involved, and unfortunately, that time isn't always available.
