All the stuff! (2024 version)
So it's been a while since my last "All the Stuff" post, so here's a fresh one!
Games for Everyone:
These are games anyone can play that were made possible thanks to all my wonderful patrons! (Some might have been Patron-exclusive for a time, which is why they may have the 'Games for Patrons' tag)
A pico-8 metroidvania, I'm very proud of it!
A game with pensive poissons
A chess variant where the pieces are dice
Hey, wanna play a bitsy game about CAPITALISM?!
It's like Frogger, but in pico-8, and with a 9-hour realtime making-of video
Difficult pico-8 platformer, avoid the gold!
pico-8 game; You are a pumpkin, but can you become PUMPKING?!
A little one-page RPG where every player gets to be GM
A (Horrible) Festive Gamebook (now with an improved version!)
Little more than a prototype tbh, explore an unending library and read the spines of the books
Generates ideas for daydreams you can have. IMO daydreams are the best single-player RPGs
Make an episode of a cheesy sitcom with your friends!
Games for Patrons:
These are games and things you just get if you're a patron, as thanks for your wonderful support!
Create, scramble, and solve magic/puzzle cubes!
Actually learn how to crack safe locks!
The bad king must be stopped, the kingdom must be saved!
Your customers are hungry for brains, feed them fast or they will take yours!
A HD remake of my game Pumpking!
A bowling game, nothing unusual about it. 😉
Totally Terrific Tactical Tic Tac Toe Technology Time
Honestly this game is not good, but sometimes you gotta make something rubbish to break out of a funk
Not even a game, you can make ducksnakes with this
An experimental game, you can only play this game by streaming it on twitch, or watching someone stream it!
I remade Dusk Child with TWICE as many colours and FOUR TIMES as many pixels
It's Curse of Greed: Ultimate, but festive!
Local-multiplayer quick-draw game!
A time-travelling puzzle-ish game!
A roguelike card game played with dice!
Dice:
I spent like a LOT of time working on a dice app, all patrons can get it >> here << (other folk can find it on one of the stores linked here)
Tools/Systems:
Turn a twine story into a playable gamebook in the browser!
Turn a twine story into a classic gamebook that you can print/publish!
Input wrapper for Godot, allowing remapping and lots of other stuff
Input Wrapper for unity, allowing remapping and lots of other stuff
Effect to colour image using a palette look-up table in unity
Make epicycle art
A new version of SpiroDraw for modern browsers with lots of new features
Work-in-Progress things:
I often have several projects on the go at once, here are my current big ones:
A scary PSX-style game with big secrets
A jigsaw puzzle app equivalent to Sophie's Dice or Sophie's Cubes
Like the classic game 'Snake', but way more chill
On the Shelf:
Not gonna lie, I lose motivation for a lot of projects and just move on to the next. I put these "on the shelf" so I can come back to them later if I get excited about them again (it has happened!). Anyway these may not be making progress but I'm still proud of what I've done:
A 3D platforming game where you are a grappling ball
A TTRPG set in a magical post-apocalyptic utopia
A *big* gamebook project
Play DiChess on a computer
A spooky point-and-click adventure
A sequel to my first pico-8 game
A first-person gyroscope-controlled adventure
A procedural maze-exploring game
Not actually a tabletop game, just looks like one
A two-player combat game
It's exactly what it sounds like!
Monthly Builds:
For the first couple of years here I released a work-in-progress build of something (not necessarily a game, not necessarily the current project) for $5+ patrons, those builds are now available to all paying patrons. Check the Monthly Builds tag for all of them, but here are some highlights:
Misc stuff you might be interested in:
I'll try to keep this page updated as I add new stuff, but hopefully this is enough to keep you occupied for a little bit :)
