Dev blog: 4K Wallpapers, GOG News, & Next Patreon Build Coming On Monday!

We are back with our latest development update as we keep pushing forward on Passion's Playground.

Alongside generating new narrative content, we’ve also been spending time under the hood optimizing performance and making the overall game UI easier and smoother to navigate!

📦 Next Patreon Build Drops Monday, September 7th (Level 2+)

Level 2 Patrons and above will get access to the new update this coming Monday, September 7th.

We currently have around 60 new animations and 500 new images queued up for rendering. However, most of these won't be fully rendered in time for Monday's build drop. Because these render machines will be running nonstop for a week straight, we are waiting for local temperatures to drop just a bit so our PCs don't overheat during the heavy rendering marathon!

Don't worry, as soon as they're baked, they'll be patched right in.

🗓️ Steam Update Schedule Adjustment

For our players on Steam wondering when the next game update will go live, we’ve adjusted our timeline slightly.

Rather than dropping a build at the very beginning of the month, we are now targeting mid-September for the next Steam update. We decided to give it a little extra time so we can package significantly more content and polish into the patch before sending it out.

🎮 Passion's Playground coming soon to GOG!

We have a major piece of platform news to share: we are currently working directly with the GOG team to bring Passion's Playground to GOG!

For anyone who prefers DRM-free platforms or uses GOG as their main library, stay tuned, we will have a lot more details to share regarding this release during next week!

Thank you all so much for being such an awesome community!

Enjoy the wallpapers, and we'll see you on Discord for today's key drops!
