Dev Blog: v0.5.4 Progress

The studio has been incredibly quiet this week, but that’s only because we have our heads down, deep in the game's codebase and rendering queues.

🎬 What We're Cooking

Because we’ve had to divide our focus between this heavy technical testing and creating fresh assets, actual story progression is moving a tiny bit slower than usual this week. That said, the creative grind never stops!

Here is exactly what we are working on right now:

• Chloe NSFW Scene: We are currently in the middle of rendering a new NSFW scene featuring Chloe.

• Interactive Conversation: Alongside her solo scene, you'll get a chance to get to know Chloe and Michelle a bit better.

• What about Ines?: We’ve seen the messages and comments pouring in, so for anyone wondering: yes, more content with our absolute community favorite, Ines, is on the horizon. She will be getting some major screen time very soon, so stay tuned!
  

🔍 Under the Hood: The Ultimate Logic Audit

For the last two weeks we're doing something tedious but incredibly vital: intensive, deep-dive testing.

Because we are rapidly approaching our Steam Early Access launch, we need to ensure the game runs like a finely tuned machine. We've been manually playing through every conceivable narrative combination, checking to see if every choice, relationship flag, and branching path leads exactly where it's supposed to.

At the same time, we're doing a full visual sweep. We are actively hunting down and cataloging any faulty renders, weird clipping issues, or rigid animations so we can get them repaired or completely replaced before the public debut.

📊 The Big Milestone: Where We Stand

Current Progress: Passion's Playground is currently sitting at roughly 50% - 55% completion.

Reaching the halfway mark is a monumental feeling for the team, but it also means the best is yet to come. We have a massive amount of content planned for the second half of the game, more mysteries, deep character arcs, high-fidelity animations, and narrative twists that we are very excited to show you.

We are aiming to have the first playable build of v0.5.4 available for Level 5 Patrons and above by the end of this week!
