🛠️ Dev Blog: Deepening the Bond & Tuning the Vibe
Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on this week.
📖 Narrative Depth & Character Evolution
Meaningful Interactions: Whether you’re playing it cool, being a provocateur, or seeking something more genuine, the game is beginning to remember and react.
The "Ripple Effect": A choice you made in Day One might not have an immediate impact, but it’s quietly shifting how a character perceives you in the upcoming updates.
We want you to feel like you’re actually getting to know these characters, what they like, their motivations, and the masks they wear when the lights are on.
🖥️ User Interface: The "Quality of Life" Overhaul
A game isn’t just about the art, it’s also about how it feels when you look at it.
Refined Choice Bars: We’ve tweaked the visual style of our choice buttons to make them feel more integrated into the game’s aesthetic, ensuring they don't break your immersion during pivotal moments.
Menu Snappiness: We’ve optimized the transition animations between the game and the settings/save menus. It’s a small change, but it makes the overall experience feel much more premium and responsive.
Text Box Adjustments: We are fine-tuning the opacity and font scaling to ensure the script is easy on the eyes, even during those long, late-night play sessions.
🔊 Building the Auditory Landscape
Slowly but surely, we are stripping away the silence of the mansion. We are continuing our mission to replace generic assets with custom music and unique sound effects (SFX).
Atmospheric Scoring: We are working on bespoke tracks that capture the specific vibe of different locations.
Layered SFX: We’re adding subtle environmental sounds, the distant hum of the mansion's AC, the clink of a glass and more. These layers are what transform a static image into a living world.
🚀 What’s Next?
Our render farm is currently humming 24/7 to process what we created this week and what we fixed from past updates.
This week we're planning on adding more story content, animations and SFX to "Passion's Playground", bur we'll add everything to the change log at the end of this week.
Thank you for your incredible patience and for allowing us the time to do this right.

The main image changed from Chloe to Ines. I like Ines, but I liked Chloe too~
Post got flagged for that image, so I had to change it... Sorry.
