Dev blog : The Results Are In

📊 The Poll Results

The majority of you voted for Monthly Updates. It seems most of you would rather wait a little longer for one massive, high-quality "Mega-Update" than deal with the hassle of downloading 6 GB+ files every single week.

Based on this feedback, we decided to change our update cycle for "Passion's Playground".

🛠️ How will this affect development?

While we love the excitement of weekly drops, we though a while about monthly updates and came to a conclusion.

By moving to monthly updates, we can focus on:

  • Extra Narrative Detail: We’ll have the breathing room to think through scenarios with much more depth and nuance.

  • Better Story Branching: More time means more "what-if" paths and additional choices.

  • Quality Control & Polishing: We’re going back through the game to fix clipping, animation errors, and render mistakes in past scenes that we didn't have time to address before.

  • Bonus Content: We can now include extra renders and "Hidden" events that we simply hadn't had time to work around and include into a weekly crunch.

In short: You'll be getting better quality content, better writing, and a much more polished experience.

🎁 Additional Tier Benefits Coming Soon

We know that a longer wait between updates is a big change, so we want to make sure your support feels more rewarded than ever. We are currently working around additional benefits for our Patron tiers to add extra value to your subscription.

We’ll have a full breakdown of these new perks for you next week!

📅 The Upcoming Schedule

  • This Week: We will release the final "weekly-style" update as planned.

  • The New Cycle: After this week’s release, our next major content drop will arrive during May.

We’re incredibly excited to see what we can achieve when we have a full month to pour our hearts (and our rendering power) into the game.
