Dev Update - Naughty Narratives ⛓️😈🖤

Hey everyone,

We hope you’re doing well! We wanted to take a moment to give you a proper update on how things are going on our end and share some of the recent challenges we've encountered during development.

To be completely honest, the past few weeks have been really tough. Some unexpected situations came up that truly shocked us—they brought sudden changes that set our progress back quite a bit. It was frustrating and disheartening, especially since we've poured so much time, energy, and love into this project.

As many of you know, game development is a complex process, and beyond just building the game, there’s also the very real need for financial support to keep everything moving. Right now, Steam has been the only platform where we’ve seen a solid impact, and we’re so grateful for the visibility and engagement we’ve received there. It’s been one of the bright spots keeping our momentum alive.

That being said, our vision for this game hasn’t changed. We’re still committed to seeing it fully come to life and sharing it with you in the way it was meant to be experienced. But we’ve run into a big obstacle: due to the nature of the game’s content, it doesn’t meet the guidelines or restrictions of many other platforms. This limits where we can showcase or distribute it, which in turn affects our ability to grow and fund development.

We want to be clear—we’re not giving up. Far from it. We're actively exploring every option available to us, from alternative platforms to possible partnerships and community support. We know there’s a path forward, and with a bit of creativity (and a lot of persistence), we’re determined to find it.

We’re sharing all of this not just to keep you in the loop, but also to thank you. Your encouragement, feedback, and support mean the world to us. It’s your passion that keeps us going, especially when things get tough.
