RORY –
“I was on the wrestling team in high school, but I never played football. For me, it was all about wrestling. I started a kind of Pro Wrestling Fed when I was 16. We have a lot of videos on YouTube and reached over 200,000 subscribers worldwide. That was amazing. I still can’t believe it. One of our videos got more than 1,800,000 views. That blew us away.”
“My first boyfriend was Duane Birdsong. We went out for a year, when I was a sophomore and he was a senior. He’s a linebacker on the USC football team, now. We broke up when he went to college. It was really sad. I miss him a lot.”
“My second boyfriend was Mike Wall. He joined my little Wrestling Federation, and we wrestled as a tag team, the Blond Bombers. He plays football in college, now. He was good friends with my first boyfriend, Duane, but they haven’t talked in a while. It was pretty upsetting for Duane when he found out Mike and I were dating. Mike and I decided to take a break when I made it into the AWPW training program. He wanted me to be free to have fun while I’m here, even though I said I’d be faithful. Jake and Bart love the way we look together, so they asked him to try out. He wants to wrestle when he finishes college.”
“I haven’t told anyone, but I have a huge crush on Bravon. I know nothing can happen between us, because he doesn’t want to have a relationship with a man. I feel lucky to be his friend, though, cause he’s really a great guy. We’ve become really close.”
“My little brother wants to be a Pro Wrestler, too. He’s two years younger than me, and we’ve never really talked about it, ‘cause I think we both like wrestling for very different reasons. He was too young to wrestle in my Fed, and I think I’d be too uncomfortable to have a match with him around.”
BRAVON –
“I lettered in Football, Wrestling, and Basketball, but I had to give up basketball in my junior year. Wrestling totally took over. I love all styles of wrestling, but I really want to be a Pro.”
“I always thought I was straight, but people make a big deal that I like to fool around with other guys. So, I guess I’m bi, but I don’t think I want to have a relationship with a man. I’ve become really good friends with all the other guys, but I just don’t feel romantic with men.”
“I’m from Atlanta. My best friend back home is really smart. He’s a huge science nerd, but he’s also on the swim team, and we studied martial arts together. I love astrophysics. I don’t understand everything, but he explains a lot to me. We love going to museums and lectures. I studied physics in college. I’d love to go into some kind of research program in the future.”
“My family is all Baptist, and really religious, especially my mom and her sisters. I consider myself ‘Atheist Adjacent’. I really don’t like the Christian idea of God. I’m not saying there’s no way a superior being could exist, I just haven’t seen any evidence, at all. I don’t talk to my family about it. They’re not very understanding when it comes to religion.”
MANDREW –
“Yeah, I was on the Football team in high school, but I guess we all were, right? I was also on the baseball team. I love all sports, but I’m really into College Football.”
“In college, I studied business and computer programming. I didn’t try out for the football team, though. I didn’t think I was big enough, or good enough. I’ve always wanted to wrestle. I love it. It’s like no other sport. Whether you win or lose, you have a blast. And, you bond with your training partners and opponents, like in no other sport.”
“I’m from the So Cal, South Bay area, San Pedro.”
“After wrestling, I really want to go into sports announcing and commentary. Oh man, I love talking about a game, and analyzing it. I’d also like to work in Event Production. You know, I was going to reach out to Rory to produce some live events for him, before I got the tryout for the AWPW.”
“I’m totally straight. I don’t kiss guys, or fool around with them, at all. It’s just not my thing. A lot of guys want to know why I’m interested in being a Pro Wrestler. I agree, it’s a totally homoerotic sport. It doesn’t get me hard, I just think it’s funny. But I understand why they’re confused. I think about it, a lot.”
STAN –
“I started training in karate and wrestling when I was six. My whole family, back in Hawaii, is in Pro Wrestling and Martial arts. My brother competes in mixed martial arts. I started seriously lifting weights when I was 12 and competing in power lifting competitions. I love lifting as much as I love wrestling.”
“I have three brothers: one older, two younger. My oldest is the one who competes in MMA, and I’m closest to the one just two years younger.”
“I haven’t told anyone in my family that I’m attracted to men. I was with one guy, once. He was a Wrestler who came to train at my family’s Pro Wrestling School. He told me he wanted to be my friend, but he lied.”
“Mandrew is the kind of guy I’d want to be with. I know he’s straight, so nothing will happen. I just like how open he is, and how easy it is for him to be friendly. I’m not like that, at all.”
MARCOS –
“My uncle and father both wrestle in Mexico and all over Latin America, so I grew up around it. I know all the Luchadores, and I would spend a lot of time at the arenas. My uncle is pretty famous. He’s a masked wrestler name El Urso Negro. Neither of them are married, and my uncle lives with another Wrestler. I haven’t talked to either of them about being gay, but I’m sure they know.”
“I love design, especially clothing. I started making gear for some of the other Luchadores. I’d like to get into that, more.”
“Yeah, I guess you could call me submissive. I really want to be in a relationship with a dominant guy. I guess sometimes I get kind of desperate. I want it so bad, I end up having sex with guys I’m not that into, and it can get kind of messy.”
“I love to cook. I thought about opening a restaurant. I’d love to cook for a man, and I love to eat, which is pretty obvious.”
