McCall Eye-Candy: Lingerie Patterns from 1930

In one of my recent blog posts, we discussed some of my favorite step-in sewing patterns.

I had a great time oohing and ahhing over my own collection, which sent me on a fun dive down the rabbit hole where I keep my vintage pattern catalogs.

This leads us to today's eye candy in my goose-bump-inducing 1930 September McCall Counter Catalog.

Yup, it has lingerie patterns.

On the left page we have the following marvelous slip patterns:

McCall 6249 (which looks a lot like a maternity slip!) - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

McCall 6260 - originally available in eight sizes from a 32 to a 46-inch bust.

McCall 6137 - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

McCall 6169 - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

On the right page, we have the following pajama, combination, and underwear set patterns:

McCall 1812 - originally available in three sizes (Small, Medium, and Large) in a 32 to 42-inch bust.

McCall 6021 - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

McCall 5968 - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

McCall 6155 - originally available in six sizes from a 32 to a 42-inch bust.

And can you just imagine... I happen to have one or two of these - the only one I can find in the stash today is McCall 6260.

A few years ago I made a reproduction of this lovely little gem and graded it into bust sizes 32-46 for your sewing pleasure.

This one sews up in a jiffy and I just LOVE the sexy little low-cut rounded back.
