As the Georgia heat here slowly relinquishes her muggy grip, I am dreaming of cooler days, crisp falling leaves, and costume season!

For our October E-book freebie, I am happy to share with you the truly beautiful 1925 How to Make Crepe Paper Costumes. The costume illustrations are stunning and the themes are quite varied. The book is perfect for crafters and costumers alike as the costumes could potentially be made out of fabric just as easily as paper.

The book is 40 pages of easy-to-follow illustrations, descriptions, and instructions. The original was a small booklet so if you wish to print it, two pages are laid out side by side, each designed to fit next to each other on an 8.5 x 11" page. 3 pages are color, the rest are crisp black-and-white images to save on ink.

As this is a small book, please keep in mind that the descriptions on how to make the costumes are short, and to the point. They don't expound much but they do give a great basis to start from.

Please note that there are not any actual full-sized sewing patterns included in this book. You can make costumes from paper using this booklet, but a pattern is not used to do so.
