Ladies' Guide Tailor System Sewing Pattern Drafting Tool
For those of you familiar with the Haslam chart, take a look at this!
This is a very rare tailoring system set. It is labeled as The Ladies' Guide. A Practical System for Cutting Ladies' Dresses and Basques - And Boys' Coats and was invented by Mrs. A Kemp.
It is undated and looks to be from the 1880s to 1890s.
This is a set of three pieces and all instructions appear to be printed on the main chart piece. The other two pieces are composed of a Front Waist Scale, and a Side Body Guide. The pieces are cut from a thick, sturdy paper board material.
Pretty cool, huh?
