Thoughts on Shin Kamen Rider
Mild visual spoilers, I feel like anyone who cares has already seen the movie but I'm throwing that warning up just in case.
I break genre a little and talk about Shin Kamen Rider in the upcoming 2023 retrospective video, where I dare make the claim that... I liked it! It's okay! But it's got things I didn't like in it. Available to every paid tier.

Oh yeah and Ruriko got a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge glow up from ALL the material.
Huh least favorite of the Shin trilogy? Mine is Shin Ultraman honestly. Shin Godzilla and Shina Ultraman feel like full on movies while the pacing of Shin Ultraman really does feel like five episodes we're speedrunning and was far more jarring for me. Like I dunno Ruriko saying 'we're gonna pick off all the executives' makes me go 'hey great we'll work through them one by one.' But maybe Anno does need Higuchi. Honestly I'm torn on if SKR or Shin Godzilla is my favorite of the Shin stuff.
