Mid-July Update

It's that time again, I haven't debriefed the current plans in a while so I might as well.

The next Ultra Retrospective will be on Ultraman 80.  I'm already 11 episodes into the rewatch and have five minutes of a video ready.  I expect it to go public around mid-August.

Some shorter videos: an Ultra Gaiden is being considered on War of the God Monsters, which is a South Korean kaiju film that uses stolen(?) Ultraman footage.  At the time of writing I haven't actually seen it yet, but it should be a shorter video to act as a buffer for me to finish 80.

Another project that has some progress: a review of weird Ultraman games.  I have footage from two of the games recorded, those two scripts are completed, but I need to get to recording the two other games I have in mind.  Might make it a mini-series since there are just so many Ultraman oddities out there.

Lastly:  Halloween stuff.  A review of Ultra Q is planned for October, and afterwards (or before, depends on scheduling) will be coverage of 24 monster movies spread across three videos.  The Zombi movies video is in limbo at the moment, but if I find the energy to complete that then I'll have another video for October.  I don't want to burn myself out, so I'm at a stage where I might have to sacrifice one or the other.

Long-term goals include an Ultraseven review in December, around Christmas time.  Seems like it would be a nice present.

So yeah, that's how things are looking.  Apologies for not uploading as frequently, these longer projects take a lot out of me.  Thanks for reading.
