Glad to see this one get revisited!
Yeah I remember someone saying Return is cozy and I thought about it and agreed. I liked that early monster, it had bad eye sight and a cute squeaky roar and MAT had zero respect for it. Ghostron and MAT got a bomb stuck to its tail.
Early on Goh gets fired and MAT is threatened with being dismissed every other week. I dunno if anything topped anything quite as cool as Jack and MAT vs. Guidon vs. Twintails.
An interesting addition about Beacon is that the only other time it was used outside of stuff like redman was in an episode of Ultraman Retsuden where it was used by the Darkness 5 from Ultra Zero Fight to hijack the show. It’s the monster’s latest appearance but I would love this monster back by having its wavelength manipulation affect stuff like livestreams or gets drawn by our increased reliance on WiFi and Bluetooth for most of our electronics.
