Out of the Vault: MMMini Sloth!!

Hey Everyone!

The subscriber exclusive MMMini Sloth is now Out of The Vault for those members weren't around when this exclusive first came out!  You can find the purchase link in "The Vault" section of the "The Hub - Info and Current Download Links" post.

About the Vault: I didn't like the idea of my Exclusive models coming out and never being available to Subscribers that join after the initial release window is over, so that's where The Vault comes in.  New members don't have to miss out completely on previously released exclusives.  In order to keep it fair to those first-run Subscribers, there is a 3 month waiting period before they are rereleased. Also, returning “Out of the Vault” Exclusives won't be a free perk.  They will be available for subscribers to purchase at a price similar to what members pay for past public releases.  No coupon codes necessary, since the price is already at a discount.  *Once a design is Out of the Vault, they stay Out of the Vault!

Direct Purchase Links for past Exclusives are listed in the "The Vault" section of the pinned "The Hub - Info and Current Download Links" post...

*If you aren't seeing the active link in the Hub post, you may need to refresh your browser cache. Logging out and back in to Patreon usually works, or try typing Ctrl+F5 or Shift+F5 on that webpage.

Cheers,
Matt

What's the smallest length you could print this to still articulate with a 0.4 nozzle?

They should work down to about 50%, but that's pretty tiny so your mileage may vary. Luckily at that size it only takes like 20 minutes to run a quick single color test print, so a quick test should let you know if that will work for you.

Is the tree that you put the sloths on also available for download?

M
MatMire Makes · April 7, 2026

The tree comes with the full size sloth public release file.

Well I feel a little let down, I got an email about the sloth, so I subscribed as that is the one I wanted.. Unfortunately, it appears I still have to purchase it, which I have not yet been successful at.. Not really liking this policy, it's way too complicated to simply get one print file...

So can we download this and the fox now?

M
MatMire Makes · April 3, 2026

No, it’s not a new release. Out-of-the-vault re-releases are for newer members to be able to purchase older exclusives. There is a 3 month vault period between when a new exclusive is included free and when it is re-released for purchase. For example… the MMMini Chick is still included free this month, then it will be unavailable (vaulted) for 3 months, then it will be purchasable (out of the vault) in August.

So does that mean i need to wait 3 months for before i can download/purchase this guy? As I have been counting down til April til it was re-released to become a member for my own personal use

M
MatMire Makes · April 3, 2026

It can be purchased now. The 3 month wait is from the file’s initial release, not your join date.

Hey Mat I have a dumb question. What is “out of the Vault”? Is it out for download or is it out for purchase. Thanks

M
MatMire Makes · April 3, 2026

Its a way for newer members to buy older exclusives (after a 3 month waiting period following the initial release). You were a member when this was originally released, so you should already have it (or shared access to it in your MMF library).

You spelled Armadillo wrong.
