Hey all!
Got a bit of a more unique critter for you this month, a Manatee! These gentle giants frequent coastal waterways, and are also known as by the nickname, sea cow. I've had this fella on my list for a long time, so it was fun to finally get to make one!
Print the Body and Head, then snap-fit them together . Here's a quick Demo Video to show how it works.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS:
Body: Print-in-Place. No supports needed. There is a small pre-support under the head ball joint. Remove and discard it after printing
Head: No supports needed. There is a small custom brim around the head to help with adhesion. Remove and discard it after printing
Multicolor 3MF (Compatible with PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio)
10%-15% Infill (I recommend Gyroid, Crosshatch or 3D Honeycomb)
3 Walls. (Assuming 0.4mm nozzle. Adjust wall count to account for alternate
nozzle sizes)
This should generally scale down to about 60% with full articulation, on a well calibrated printer. Your mileage may vary.

how do I download your files to put in bambu handy to print them? I don't understand the "Hub"
Clicking the link above that says "*To Download: Click here..." and that will take you to the Hub post. There you will see categorized lists of files. The ones in the "Free" categories are downloadable just by clicking the underlined name of the design. Further down the Hub post is a Coupon Code for 50% OFF past public releases (useable on Cults3d.com and MyMiniFactory.com) and a list of the files that the coupon will work on. Below that is the "Vault - Purchase Past Exclusives" section which contains links to buy the older member exclusive files (which are already discounted, so no coupon needed). On a side note, the Bambu Handy app cannot import or slice externally acquired files. You would have to do that in Bambu Studio on a computer. The app can only allow you to natively print files from BambuLab's Makerworld marketplace.
I'm just now getting to the manatee and I am seeing an anomaly on the prints, on the left side behind the flipper on the body near the articulation opening - on each size I've printed, in the same spot there is a layer / smoothness issue. The opposite side is smooth. I thought maybe it was just a glitch in the one print, but I have 4 of them here now, all with the same "spot." Any ideas?

I really love the manatee. Sadly, The ombre color you used cannot be had. I figure it's the season and it will soon be available again. After much indecision I chose Overture Matte Light Brown. It doesn't have the greys I wanted, but it's as close as I can come right now and I like it better than the plain greys.
Just did them at 40% .20 12% infill grid and worked great! Cool plate on P1S

Made 3 so far at 60% 80% and 120%. Attempting 150% now
I printed two today and they're perfect! I would like to request a koala, and maybe some type of dog(s) too. There aren't enough variety of good dog prints out there for some reason.

This is perfectly timed! I'm in Florida on a trip AND WE JUST WENT SWIMMING WITH MANATEES! My wife is going to love this.

Awh,, I got to swim with these gentle giants in Florida this year. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. Thank you for giving me a precious model to commemorate this experience. ❤️

Do you know how small this can be printed?
I printed at 60% and it works perfect other than the head being completely stuck in place once you get it on. Could be because the support material made the ball connection really uneven so clean it up a bit and should be fine
