💓Sulmate MOD💓 {DOWNLOAD}

Hey Guys! This mod originally stemmed from a Twitch Livestream and Chat and I to make it a reality! I know in game sims can be "soulmates" but I wanted something a bit more...different. So that brings us to the Sulmate Mod! Let's get into what it has to offer:

Love or Loss

By Default, Sims (Teen-Elder) will be given one of two new traits I've included in this mod: Believes or Doesn't Believe in Sulmates. Certain factors can influence what trait your sims may get when you load up your save.

Sulmate Believers conflicts with Unflirty, Romantically Reserved or Commitment Issue Traits

Sims who Don't Believe in Sulmates conflicts with Romantic or Lovebug Traits.

Don't worry! If you want to change your sims trait you can always do a cheat shift + click instead:

So Many Sulmates

My original plan for this mod was to focus on Romantic Sulmates but somewhere along the way, I felt that it's also possible just like Real Life, for Sims to have strictly Platonic Sulmates!

Romantic Sulmates feel like they're the ones for each other. They'll always want to be around one another and depending on their mood they'll get a buff that reflects their partners feelings:

Platonic Sulmates have a bond that's stronger than any friendship! These are the sims that truly feel like they can be who they truly are around one another. Friendly and Funny interactions will prompt some buffs as well:

Special Note: Because these sims are Platonic, they cannot interact romantically!

Searching for a Sulmate

So how do Sulmates work? When interacting with other sims, you'll get a pop up where you can choose to embrace or reject the Sulmate:

To Hopefully make things easier so there's less of a chance of just any sim getting these pop ups there are a few things youll need to keep in mind:

Romantic Sulmates: The popup will only show up if your sims romance level is at at least level 70+, If the sim you're interacting with believes in Sulmates as well and if your sim does not have a Sulmate Already! (Prompted by Romantic Interactions)

Platonic Sulmates: Popup Shows up if the friendship level is 60+ and if the other sim believes in Sulmates. (Prompted by Friendly or Funny Interactions)

Rejecting a Sulmate doesn't have any consequences!

If you feel like for the plot purposes that your sims should be Sulmates, you'll get a new notification and a new relationship type:

Storytelling Interactions

I've included a few storytelling interactions for sims, some are dependent on if they believe in Sulmates and some depend on if they're interacting with their own Sulmate!

I've also created a Computer Interaction for sims to take an Online Test to see if they've found their Sulmate or not!

Bonus Interaction:

I felt like it wasn't right to not include something like this. One of my favorite things to do in San Myshuno is to go to the Romance Festival and ask the Romance Guru about my sims relationships. I wanted to add something similar so yes you can ask the Romance Guru about a Finding a Sulmate. This does come with notifications and a buff (one good and one bad)!

You will need City Living EP for this and for the Romance Festival to be active for this to pop up!

Each Interaction will come with Buffs (some may depend on a sims Sulmate Belief Traits) and notifications!

Continuing with my Custom Milestone Journey, I've included a new milestone for sims who got married and they're both Sulmates

Across the Modderverse

If you play with my Ever After Mod, youll be happy to hear that an update was added in the reasons to reject marriage proposal. Now if you have both mods installed, you can select a new reason for why sims might not want to get married

Caution: There's a chance the Romantic Sulmate Pop up might show up twice if your sims are in the same household. Besides that it does work as intended!
