[Sneak Peek] FF7 Elena Model

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a peek at what I've got going on. There's been a few requests so I started cleaning up and improving an Elena model to bring it up to standard.

All the pictures above are my "After" pictures. Thankfully the base face is pretty good to start with, so the main concern was her proportions and the clothes.

The first image shows Elena in her game-accurate Turks suit, which for some reason on the base model was blue with a really light beige tie so I got the colors right. Only problem with outfits like this is they're usually not adjustable in any way so I had to try and get a little creative.

The rest of the pictures are different takes on her outfit based on a collection of different individual clothing assets - different ties, a shirt, a sports bra, etc. Its one of those things where I have to sacrifice exact accuracy in order to use props that will let me do neat, creative things with them.

I also gave her better textures overall, and made her hair look nicer/shinier. She actually now has the same hair textures as Viola, and it made me realize that Elena is basically if Vi and Tifa had a baby lmao.

Lastly, if you want to see what the base model looks like without any of my touch-ups, aka the "Before" shots, it's these:

It's often the case with new models that they're basically made so that the model looks correct with the outfit (in this case her game-accurate suit). This usually causes the models to look kind of weird without the clothes. On top of that the textures below the head aren't really considered much so they're usually very plain and plastic-y.

I have an idea in mind for a pinup shot that I'm going to work towards. I know it's not the most exciting thing but this week's just been a blur. I'm still pretty f'd up with my tooth shit (appointment monday cant come soon enough) and tbh I'm surprised I got anything done but the pain wasn't too bad today so I was able to focus a bit.

So yeah! Elena has joined the Roster.
