SIM TRAXX / TRANSFAGARASAN 90km Progress Update - August 2023
Hi, we know that many people wait already too long for this track. We are working hard to find sponsors to bring You this one of the best scenic drives in the world as fast as possible (with unmatched accuracy of less than 1cm laserscan). Even Top Gear called it the best road in the world. So the update is: we have fully teamed up with GISPRO professional scanning company and they are going this month to scan the full 90km of the track. After that they will process the scans and prepare meshes and will help alot with modelling. The goal is to have the 90km road driveable by end of this year and then focus on the rest of the details.
Remember that the more You guys support us, the faster we can work, as we can hire and train more people. We are still a small company and don't have a real budget of our own and rely on kind support of people and sponsors.
You can also watch a video of the track to memorise it already as this is going to be an almost 1:1 same virtual.
You can have my word that we will bring this project to life asap. It's not a scam, as some haters mights say. Its a virtual engineering project - not your average low accuracy, medium quality project from Race Department or some ripped project from other game like there is many of them available as well. It's a real road and the precision of the scan makes it the most accurate simracing project ever available for the public.
