My Patreon has more or less had the same pricing for many years now and I'm starting to feel the economic pressure to need to consider change in the near future.

As my biggest supporters I wanted to share this info with you first. Everything is still a WIP which is why it's a great time for me to get some feedback from you! I will take into account feedback from my Patrons, planning with my marketing team, and my own goals before I make any final decisions.

I will have a draft of the changes available to all Patrons before anything is finalized.

Here's what I'm currently considering and I welcome your feedback, ideas, and suggestions.

Tiers will be revised to be $5 and $10.

Two tiers keeps it simple.

People in lower tiers will be able to keep their existing $3 or lower subscription because Patreon allows grandfathering in so folks will retain access to past stuff even if they can't change their amount, but they might not have access to the same type of new content going forward.

I'm considering making the themed packs come at the $10 level.

This is a big change and obviously worth thinking about and the biggest reason I'd like feedback from you all. Themed Packs are probably the primary draw for most artists supporting me here after all the lovely folks who just throw money at my because they love what I do and want to help. (ty ty you beautiful beans again for being here)

The investment I'm making into this project has been steadily growing as I have expanded what I offer. Hiring models, paying photographers, expanding into physical merchandise, doing in person events, etc. has become more or less normal in the course of the last 5 or so years and while I was able to both support this expansion AND continue to support myself, it has gotten harder to do so with Things Being How They've Been and the Cost Of Everything Getting Higher All The Time.

A core goal with AdorkaStock has always been to be affordable and accessible to as many artists as possible. I can also recognise that as my full time work and primary source of semi-reliable income I need to take the emotional and economic realities seriously if I want to avoid burnout and/or failure.

I originally started my Patreon because I had a kid and I didn't want to give up doing pose reference modeling. Having it make a little money was one way to continue dedicated time to the work. I am finding myself faced with the same predicament now: I've built something that has become difficult to sustain at this level but rather than pull back and offer less in the face of these challenges, I hope to gather stronger support from the community and aim for continued, steady growth.

Along with the changes here on Patreon I would also need to increase my base pricing for packs (existing and new) in order to make the membership worth it. Currently regular packs average around $0.10 per pose with a round up; so a 45 image pack might be $5, a 56 image pack would be $6 etc. There are some exceptions for some of the more special or technical packs but that's typically the calculus I have used.

I'm considering the goal of averaging closer to $0.20-$0.25 per image. A 45 image pack would be more like $9-$11 and a 56 image pack would be $11-$14. Fancier, Premium or more technical packs might still be a big higher depending on costs.

I want to do more without burning out. ❤️‍🔥

Since I will be asking for more of your support I hope to also do more for you in a way that does not risk overwhelming myself but provides real value to artists and other creators using my references.

I want to release themed packs more often including occasional all-Patron specials for people at any support level so there's an occasional treat for everyone.

I will continue to offer any time pose requests for all Patrons to keep flexibility for folks on a tighter budget.

I also plan to post more often including ramping up my free posts (mainly through Quips) so you can count on my Patreon page as a regular source of interesting inspiration.

I am still working through some of the other technicalities like considering how many monthly additional poses each tier would receive but here's my current thinking:

Currently
- $1 gets 8 Poses/mo plus any free images
- $3 gets 8 poses/mo plus themed packs as they release (amount of poses varies)
- $5 gets ~38 poses/mo plus themed packs as they release (amount of poses varies)

Potential Change
- $5 would get 10 poses per month and occasional themed packs
- $10 would get 25 poses per month and all the regular themed packs
- everyone including free members gets more posts in general including solos and small sets
- bring back videos!

(Reminder: if you currently support through iOS mobile app you are paying more for Apple's fees. I think you can cancel your pledge and sign up again through your web browser and save money.)
