I did a VO!

Honestly doing voice overs is one of the hardest things for me about doing any kind of posts online. I hate the sound of my own voice and I always trip over my words when trying to read something scripted. 🥹

But if I have to listen to one more vid with a robot AI voice I feel like I might scream soooo I really wanted to try!

For this I actually wrote out a script and read it a few times. Then once I felt like I had the idea, I kept it up but didn't read it directly - I just kind of glanced at it while looking at a photo of my friend.

Combining that with wearing my pajamas and using my headset (feels like live streaming which I can do!) made it feel more like 'talking to a friend' than it has before.

Also: yay card decks! 😍 I really want to make more of these next year. I dream of setting up my convention tables with PILES of pose reference merch!!

So - let me know what themes you'd like for future decks? And also future books!

I think full poses work best at a slightly bigger scale so probably I will do more decks and more stuff in the size of the Handy Hand Book. ♥

Have you done any voice over? What did you do to get used to it/better at it? I'm so thrilled with this new marginal skill and I want to keep practicing. 🥰

Edit: oh dang, I just realized! I should add some subtitles to these. 🤔✨

I feel that your voice is naturally calming but most soothing. :)
